There seems to be a factory issue with these shoes. We've gotten two pairs and in both, the right shoe was not stable laterally - the sole was rounded. They're comfortable and my son liked the look, but they're just not safe for him, especially as he wears orthotics and needs very secure support. If you don't have foot problems, maybe it won't matter to you, but we're going to go back to Asics which are consistently good shoes.

I use these sneakers to play paddleball, a somewhat obscure sport related to racquetball and played mainly in the NYC area and Florida. The sneakers were comfortable out of the box. I had to gift a pair of New Balance, my usual brand, because they were rubbing against my ankles. Paddleball is played on a concrete court, so it is rough on sneakers. I purchased these sneakers because of the thick rubber, especially in the toe area. So far so good, plus they look great.

I have worn this shoe for two years now for both tennis and platform tennis (paddle). It is comfortable right out of the box. I always order a half size up for the extra toe length. The toe box on this shoe is a little on the wide side which I like as well. It is a bulkier shoe than some tennis shoes out now, but again, I like that and the support it provides.

Buying tennis shoes is strictly a matter of personal taste. What I can tell you is that I've recently been suffering from plantar fasciitis, and the arch support in these shoes keeps it from flaring up. A good shoe!

I have had foot injuries in the past and these sneakers and the Prince 22 are the only ones I can wear and play tennis comfortably. There is no break in time. I ordered 1/2 size larger so that I could put my own running pads in and wear thick socks. Durable for 1 season only then I would recommend changing them out. I play on both surfaces approximately 10-15 hours per week.

A very stable and comfortable shoe. The fit is true to size, my initial worries when buying a shoe are always the width but these left plenty of room. I can already tell these shoes will last this tennis season. Go Muskies.

Hi. I started out loving these shoes, but I started having knee problems after a while for months and neither I nor the doctors knew why/what was wrong. (I played almost 5 times a week) I decided to change the shoes and see what happens. I changed to another brand and my knees are much better/healed !! So as much as I initially loved the shoes, it wasn't for me I guess.. I don't want to discourage buying it because again I loved it initially and it had cushioning and everything, but again, it didn't work for me so people with injuries I advise you to stay away from this brand.

Good shoe if you want stiff structure to the footbed. Feels very secure, but for me I'm looking for a little more flex.

I am a big, nearly 200 pounds, fast guy and I hurl myself about the squash court in a way that shreds shoes. I gave up on the Head that I had long played in because they fell apart too quickly and lacked suitable traction for the change of direction needed. These shoes do neither. I play daily, averaging between 10-12 hours a week; I bought three pairs early last summer and rotated through them. The last pair is giving out now. For each, however, the sole remains in terrific shape; these shoes have never slipped (spun out) from under me. Mostly, the breakdown occurs inside (the cushioning) and the sidewall of my pushing foot, which I think is tearing from a combination of moisture and because I lace these down so very tightly. To look at them, you would not know they were as worn as they are. I will be buying three more pairs as soon as Zappos gets them back in my size.

Great shoes! Love the width - I have a wide foot. My first prince pair - I'm an Adidas guy usually; these shoes solidly built, though. And very comfortable. I'm sort of flat-footed - so I actually prefer low to no arch support. Zappos also threw in a second pair of black colored shoelaces!

Love these shoes. My girlfriends are getting the same shoe but in different color. Prince is a great brand and makes great shoes.

A very supportive shoe. There isn't a lot of foot movement which makes stopping on the court possible. Great shoe.

I am an avid squash player and have tried a number of different brand shoes. I like these the best because they grip the foot with no wiggling or sliding. I have a narrowish foot and find other shoes don't hold my foot in place as well.

This is a nice looking shoe and I thought that it ran true to size however I was greatly disappointed with the cushioning in the ball of the foot. The heel cushion felt fine however the cushioning in the forefoot felt no better than the two year old pair that I just discarded for that very reason. I guess I will have to invest in some better insoles.

With just 4 months of use on the courts one of the shoes blew out along the outside edge of the shoe from lateral movement. Very disappointing construction of a performance shoe.

I really liked these shoes from the get go. However, the rubber sole is delaminating from the rest of the shoe and I've only been using them for a few weeks now. Very disappointing construction flaw.

These are my paddle shoes of choice. They hold up as well as anything and provide good support. The paddle court is brutal on the lower extremities, but these shoes help to cushion the pounding. Really. I'm not bs'ing.

Great shoe and I don't play tennis but I coach Volleyball and walk a lot and I needed a shoe with no toe drag. Great support and happy with purchase.

Bought theses shoes after buying other Prince shoes in their lineup. They feel good and look good also with the white and black.

I play tennis 3 times a week and love this shoe, because it runs wider than most. I like to order a half size bigger than my street shoes, so that I don't crush my toes on short stops on the court.

These seem to hold up well for me. I play 2-3 times per week. They are not the lightest shoe but they feel substantial, maintain their support and hold up to my toe drag.
