Prince Reviews
Probably the most comfortable shoe that I have ever put on. The width up by the toes is perfect for my foot. The red print inside bleeds, but besides that, it really comfortable.
I play tennis 3-4 days a week both socially and competitively. I have tried several different brands of tennis shoes and hands down these are the best. No break in needed, my feet and knees are not hurting after paying for several hours. This is a shoe every tennis player should try!
I play a lot of tennis and the Prince T22 is perfect for me. I need a roomy toe box, arch support, and snug fitting at the heel. This shoe does it all. I have it in white and now black. I think it is a great value for the money and Prince gives a six month replacement shoe if you wear out the sole!!
These shoes fit me well, are fairly lightweight, and offer good lateral support. Love the black on black color but I have several others, too.
I love these shoes! They are my second pair. I wear them to play tennis right out of the box. No breaking in! Zappos is awesome too! 365 day return policy and free shipping? Who does that?
The toe of this shoe is plenty wide but the leather reinforcement on either side of the ball of the foot is stiff and cannot be adjusted with the laces. Plenty of support, but the heel comes up too far for me and presses on my Achilles. I am an easy to fit 8M and this shoe in size 8.5 was uncomfortable.
Best tennis shoe I've ever owned. First time trying Prince. They've got it down. Great fit -- no break-in time needed. Supportive throughout and especially in the heel. I appreciate the toe box room as well as the softer leather on toe sides. I loved the lightweight feel on the court.
My daughter who is also a tennis player had the Prince T22, being the same size 6, I tried them on and instantly liked them. They are very comfortable, no need to break them. They hug my heel, keep them in place as I run around the court.
I've had a few pairs of these shoes. Plenty of room in the toe box, which suits my foot. Very good support and cushioning. The sole is also remarkably durable, even on a tennis court, given that these shoes were designed for indoor use in squash.
The minute I put these on, the shoes felt comfortable. I am very tall and have high arches and the shoe fit my foot perfectly. I played an hour of tennis in them on a clay court and even though it was the first time I was wearing them I didn't have one blister or sore spot. Really fantastic shoes.
Comfortable shoes that provide good support. Prince shoes tend to run a little wider in the toe box than some others.
Sturdy shoes, wide toe box and lightweight considering the heavy-duty construction. I use them for platform tennis and they stand up to the gritty court well. I go one shoe size down for men's shoes for additional color choice.
Great for wide, skinny feet. Able to adjust the width quite a bit. Very comfortable, lots of cushioning, and light.
These are great shoes for tennis. They are very comfortable and cushy. If you have any foot issues like plantar factitious these are good shoes to try.
I ordered these shoes by mistake and couldn't be happier. They are comfortable and supportive. Initially I had some issue with the toes on my right foot falling asleep, but after a little adjustment of the laces, perfecto! If I had one complaint it would be I'm not madly in love with the blue accent. All white would suit me better.
This is my third pair or these shoes. My foot is narrow, but these still work well. The wide toe box really keeps your feet from hurting after a long match. They provide enough support for quick lateral movement. Just keep watch on the tread on the bottom because it does wear fairly quickly and you lose traction.
I absolutely love these shoes! As someone who plays tennis multiple times a week, I need shoes with good support, a wide toe box and that wash well. These fit that bill. I just keep ordering them as new colors come out!
The shoes were more than I expected. The extra wide toe area gives added comfort and seems to give more stability. I chose this style because of the gum sole bottoms. They give extra traction on the courts.
Good looking shoe, but probably not for you if you are a very small person. I am 5'3 at 100lbs, and these shoes just looked carntoonishly oversized on me and I purchased the size 6. They are very comfy, extremely padded. The toe box is very wide, and although the lacing system lets you really lock your foot into place, mine did not feel secure. I am not sure how supportive they would be on the court with how much mesh is used. (But I am used to a much more old school, all-leather construction.) Overall, if you are tall and/or of medium build, you will love probably these shoes, as they will fit right and be proportional. If you are very small, the shoes will look very clunky on your body, and a small foot feels like it would slide around in there.
First Impression: simple style, good cushioning, wider toebox. I tried two other brands (NBal, KSwss) but this shoe fit me perfectly. I have a slightly flatter, wider foot (E), and this shoe has a wider/squarer than average toebox. Length was right and felt great to play right out of the box. Fairly lightweight and grippy on hardcourt. Happy feet with a shoe that matches my flatter, wider feet.
