It was love at first sight with these shoes for my daughter. As a first-grader, she loves everything sparkly and shiny. The navy blue patent leather is a deep, rich color that I was looking for and the sheen my daughter loves. There is ample padding in the rear around her Achilles so we haven't had any complaints on comfort. The sole is rubber which helps prevent slipping. We highly recommend this shoe.

I ordered the Primigi Kids Azalea-E for my daughter who is in the first grade. They look great and fit well. We ordered the same shoes (different size) last year for school. They wear well. Love them!

My granddaughter wants these shoes and every year I get them for her in red (her favorite) and black. The rubber soles are great because she can play in them and they are very comfortable and stable. A well-designed shoe and worth the price. They look graceful and aren't "clunky". We love them!

"5 Stars!" says my 7 year old - We looked at every size 13 shoe Zappos carries. My 7 year old picked these because she thought they looked comfortable. She's had them for a month of daily wear, school & home & says: "They're really comfortable. The arch is perfect. They fit perfectly."

Perfect Red Patent Leather Shoe - My granddaughter loved opening these shoes on Christmas Morning! The color of this shoe is a VIVID RED! And just what she had asked for from Santa. The coloring on my monitor did not do it justice. (And I was greatly relieved). As with all Primigi children shoes, you can not go wrong.

2008: The Year of the Clunky Mary Janes - The options for Mary Janes to coordinate with a new fancy/funky winter coat this year seemed limited to clunky and clunkier. My granddaughter is 4 & 1/2 and accustomed to wearing boots, though not fashion boots; sneakers and sometimes sandals in summer. She found these Primigis uncomfortable at first (I think she resisted the pressure on and around her toes), but I suspect she'll grow used to the fit, motivated by the fact that the shoes are dressy and complement her coat. She's the younger sibling of two boys and enjoys being the princess of the family. Everyone knows that princesses wear shiny patent Mary Janes. These will be occasional shoes, but it's always nice to be prepared for the exceptional. Primigi makes fine, supportive, intelligently constructed, quality footwear. The Azalea-Es are sensible, if not sleek, and apparently trendy. Still, I won't miss this old-lady version of a graceful classic when it's gone, and although the coat will surely be worn for two years, I bought just one pair of the shoes (in the child's current size). Here's to the Mary Janes of 2009-10, to Primigi, a brand I trust, and to Zappos for its superlative customer service!

Red pat and leather girls shoes - My daughter loves them because they're so comfortable. She's gotten compliments on them too. The shiny red looks so cute.

Great shoe! My 4.5-yr-old loves this shoe. We also bought fancy sneakers and Crocs at the same time. She wore the sneakers about 4 times, the Crocs until they broke, and these until her toes were crunched into the end. They ARE sneakers for this very active, adventurous kid. She wants me to order another pair exactly like them in her new size. They must be really comfortable!

Simple dress shoe for our 11 year old. She can wear them for church or casual. She likes the velcro strap but has to wear them with socks as they can put runs in her tights.

Primigi Azalea - These shoes are just as cute as they look and my daughter (7 years old) is very comfortable in them. They are the perfect dress shoe. True to size.

Great shoe - My daughter wears this shoe with her little plaid uniform daily. It has held up great, is dressy enough to wear with dresses and the sole is rubber and stable enough for play too. Great shoe. Will order again when she outgrows this one.

The original red shoe! I searched and searched for a red shoe to coordinate with my daughter's outfit and was hopeless to no avail. Suddenly I remembered Zappos and boy am I glad I did. This shoe is BEAUTIFUL! A 1-derful fit and it looks like a custom fit. She loves them and so do I. I only wished they came in a size 36!

Very satisfied - Loved the look and feel of the shoe. Especially like that it's a faux button that is actually hook and loop, which means my granddaughter can take her own shoes on and off.
