Just got these prana Malibu pants.I like cotton, for one thing, and these are cotton, unlike others in the brand. Since it's cotton knit, and I've lost about 22 lbs recently on Weight Watchers, I'm still testing out sizes. But I thought with the knit fabric, I'd try the medium (I weight about 150 and am 5'6". Well, the Med fits great and looks great! Feels great. Just want I was hoping for. And the little 'skirt' can be worn like that or bunched up a bit if you are secure in your butt look. I am not wearing them for exercise but for comfortable casual wear. I have not washed them yet, but I am careful with good quality cotton knits and will be careful.

I bought the black color in this pant and loved them so much I decided to get the white, too. Unfortunately, I didn't like the white. The fabric seemed a bit thin and there was no way I could wear the 'skirt' part bunched up at the waist, which I liked better in the black. Panties showed in the white, so the skirt had to be worn down over the butt. Just didn't think it looked as good as the black, but if you wear a thong pantie or like the skirt down, maybe the white is for you. I am just under 150 lbs and 5'6" and the Medium was the right size for me in the cotton knit fabric. Also the pant was not too long, even if I wore a sandal or short heel, so if you're really tall, they might not be long enough. But the nice thing about Zappos is free shipping and free returns, which gives you the option of at least giving it a try, as I did with the white color. Wish it had worked!
