I got the F7 because supposedly they\'re phasing out the F6. With the F6, when the battery dies, you have to send the unit in to Polar and with the F7 you can change the battery yourself. The strap on the F7 is supposedly more comfortable than the F6. \r\nI love working out with this! Really nice way of storing all your exercise info on your computer. The color is fine. The watch face is a little large for me, but I am petite and have small wrists. Highly recommended!

I just upgraded my F6 to the F7. I love the Own Zone feature, which is a must if you work out in a gym next to others on equipment. I wasn't sure I was going to like the color (I've always had a black wrist monitor) but I do. The biggest difference is the heart strap. There is a rectangular piece that snaps onto the strap. My guess is that they made it that way because it's easier to clean. Only the strap gets sweaty with this style strap. Also, note that the rectangular piece clearly shows through tight workout tops as a small bump, unlike the body hugging style of the old strap. That might bother some wearer's but I don't mind.

The first one I bought was stolen out of my suitcase on the way home from Italy. I had to have another one; I am so hooked on this watch. It has great features and is easy to use. The only thing I don't like is the color.

I was a little uncertain about the workout planning feature of this monitor, but it really does put a little extra pressure to not only hit your weekly plan, but also to meet your heart rate percentage goals. So far I've been extremely pleased.

Entry level type that gives you lower, maximum, and average heart rates yet does not give you time in your target heart rate. Those that are well trained can gauge that they're in their target range by their breathing so it doesn't bother me that it doesn't show that time. The upper models show that but are much more expensive. For what I need and want, this fits my needs.

I wouldn't recommend this watch for biking or serious running. The watch displays the time, your stopwatch time, and your heart rate, but not all at once. To see each value, you have to hold the watch up to your HR belt around your chest until it beeps, and you cycle through the screens with each beep. Clearly this can pose a danger while biking and an annoyance/inconvenience while running, etc. Also, the wrist strap is a thick, rigid plastic-type material, making the watch difficult to secure and to take off. But if you're looking for a very basic starter watch with an HR monitor, and want to save money, this one might be acceptable.

Nice Watch - Easy to operate, much better then the Timex I previously owned. HRM works great...great for running/biking outdoors.

This is an excellent watch and would definitely recommend it. It is easy to use and has a great tracking system. I love how at the end of my workout it will not only tell me the total calories burned, but the % fat, something I had not taken into account before using the watch. This watch has made all the difference in my workouts and ultimate weight loss success. Not just for runners and hard core athletes, anyone looking to lose weight should have one. Great for the price.
