Wow, first of all, I ordered these online last night, and have them today? Wow, thanks Zappos I put them on, great fit from the sizing chart...I vary between 9.5 and 10, and these 43, are perfect. Some brands are too tight in that size. Comfortable right out of the box. Good looking shoe I can wear with jeans or corporate. No break-in seems necessary. Really comfortable good looking shoe. New brand for me. Like!

I think Pikolinos tend to be about 1/2 size larger than the size I generally wear. They are very comfortable and nice looking and well made. I didn't give these shoes 5 stars because I have another pair of Pikolinos that are even more comfortable, and they get 5. Great shoe.

I had been searching for a pair of tan casual shoes for some time - a sort of baseball-glove tan. The Pikolinos came closest to filling the requirement. They are well made but had some quirks. The material in the area under the balls of the feet seems to not have been as beveled as it should be and results in sharp pressure points. Imagine that some layers underneath are simply square where they are cut off. Replacing the footbed pad has reduced this to a point where they can be worn for more than an hour at a time. We will see if that improves over time. I like the shoes and will continue to wear them to see if they break in further. The only other drawback is that the leather overlaps the sole to some extent. If the sole does not remain black over time (fades) it will be difficult to apply polish or some other dressing to the sole without staining the upper leather. Still, it's a very attractive shoe and I am glad to have bought them along with the Eccos purchased at the same time.

I recently had toenail surgery and plantar fasciitis. I was looking for a shoe that accepted custom medical orthotics and was comfortable under these difficult conditions. I can honestly say the the Pikolinos by Oviedo are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn! After wearing the first pair for a few days, I ordered 3 more pairs of different colors and types! I would highly recommend these shoes in every way. I intend to wear and enjoy them after the foot problems are gone, which they are very much helping to eliminate.
