Pikolinos takes pride in offering a carefully selected line of women's sandals, flats, slides and sling-backs, all thoughtfully designed and manufactured to high quality standards. Men can choose sport-inspired sandals and loafers constructed of premium materials to ensure lasting enjoyment.
Pikolinos has presented the 2011 Maasai Collection, a line of shoes and accessories that have been designed and made by women from the Maasai tribe in Kenya. This is a unique project in which the Maasai women embroider the leather shoes and bags with their own traditional designs. Furthermore, the type of work that they are doing actually lets them preserve their culture and lifestyle (the Massai tribe is in danger of extinction according to the United Nations). It has already helped to improve the quality of life of the whole community; they get paid fair wages, it contributes to the community and a school has been built for more than 400 children right in the heart of the African savanna.
All the profits made from selling these shoes go towards development projects in the Maasai Mara.

These are very cute, super comfortable. I wear size 5 (eu 35) and these fit perfectly. I've been wearing them barefoot from day 1. Ordered a similar style in black.

Pikolinos are my absolute favorite brand of shoes, and these are my faorite everyday shoes. I have them in two colors. They are so comfortable, and many people comment on how cute they are. The quality is fantastic. They cost more than I ever pay for other shoes, but they're really worth it.

The whipstitching and cutouts make these the most unique sandal type shoe I've seen. Oh wait, they're Pikolino of course. Pricey, but arch support, style, and comfort with no break in period make them worth it. The sizing is not exactly correct. If you are a size 10, get the 41's. I bought these in the muted red and can't decide which I like better.

The whipstitching makes these unique. Plus, as I said in an earlier review, I am now in love with all things Pikolino. The arch support is fabulous. I wear them around the house since they are more comfortable than barefoot (and the floors are cold in Colorado). I'm off to Hawaii for Spring Break and I can't wait to wear these with the reddish ones with shorts and sundresses.

These shoes are very soft and flexible. I have high arches and there is enough room for custom orthotics. They would be a little loose in the width though, without the orthotics. I wear a size 11 and ordered the 42 (marked 11.5-12).
