Loved this boot and I am sad that I have to return it. I guess my legs are a bit short so these boots hit me almost mid-knee. They are otherwise extremely comfortable, stylish and well made. I marked that they felt wider than marked because I have a significant bunion on one foot which normally makes medium width shoes feel tight and uncomfortable but these shoes fit like a glove. I could tell that there would be no break-in period. Also, if you wear orthotics, you can remove the insoles but the ones provided are squishy and comfortable as well.

I so wanted to keep these boots, but alas I cannot. They are truly beautiful and it is great to purchase footwear that is not manufactured in China. These are from Spain and the quality of the leather makes them totally worth the bit more you have to pay. The grey color is unusual, but is such a perfect neutral that it will go with everything. Unfortunately, I have very large, athletic calves and I could not get them to zip up all the way. So disappointed. Back they go!

I think that Zappos must be sending out packages on a space shuttle or something...I ordered these boots last night and they were on my doorstep *this morning*! And they are just as pictured/described: a lovely matte deep brown, with great details and very easy to put on and take off. The low heel gives you just a bit of height (and comfort), and like all of my other Pikolinos I can tell that these will require absolutely no breaking-in period. I love Spanish shoes, and these are among the best. With such a great price and stellar service, I am very happy with this purchase.

These boots are cute. I'm a solid size 8 and got the 38's, which were a half size too small. Also, I thought the picture online make the boots look a bit redder, more of a cordovan color, than they were in person. They are definitely a neutral brown. For that reason I'm not going to exchange them. But, if they were redder, I would, because they're that nice a boot. I had no trouble with the shaft size.

These are great boots, very well made. I'm usually between an 8.5 and a 9,and the size 39 fits perfectly. The shaft is not too loose but still fits over jeans. I usually have some of extra room so I'd say these boots have a narrower shaft than average. My only complaint is the color, the boots are a medium brown not nearly as dark as shown.

I love these boots! My calves are on the athletic side, and these fit comfortably. They are not too tight, and have room for thick socks and leggings. The only reason I rated these lower on comfort is because after wearing them for many walks, the back zipper did start to slump and dig into the back of my heel/leg. That is not a deal breaker for me, I still wear them and love them. I cannot wait until winter so I can pull them out of the closet! I think they will still be in style!
