PF Flyers Reviews
RUN FASTER AND JUMP HIGHER!!!!! I only wore PF Fliers as a kid- was so excited to see them reissued, and got the same reds ones I wore as a tot. Amazingly, they are just as comfortable as I remember them to be! Still have that PF insert, the round logo on the ankle, and the little green rubber label on the back. I love these, they are SO retro and wonderful- and very very comfortable. I need arch support- but have not had to use my orthotics with these. Also- I have bought hi-top Converse but ended up not wearing them because they were so heavy. These are just...nice. I had no idea they would be as comfortable as they are.
This shoe is awesome. It provides great arch support the insoles are really comfortable and they look really nice. I think they look and fit way better than converse. Converse have little support in my opinion and if you have an arch this shoe will support it. These are my type of shoes. P.S. After buying this pair I bought 3 other pairs in the following weeks.

Bought these for my fiance. He loves them! I will have to buy him every color! He likes them because they're like Chucks but fit wider feet.
I really like these hi-top sneakers. Durable, comfy, well made and good looking with lot's of colorways to choose from. What separates these from Converse Chuck Taylor's are the mid sole. It's thicker and offers more cushion, as well as ribbed and more substantial at the toe guard. This lends the shoe a more substantial look and profile over a Chuck, and paired with the original PF styling cues make these shoes different then the Converse in two important ways. Their details and comfort. Both of which are just as well. The price is right and I find these shoes to be true to fit for my size 12.5, D width feet. I fit size 12's, too. But like many shoes size 12 they are a bit snug, with 13's being a bit longer. But getting half sizes can be a challenge so I have these shoes in 12 and 13. Both sizes are just fine.

Love these shoes! Decided to give up on Converse because as cute as they are, I've yet to find a pair that's actually comfortable and fits me properly. Decided to give the PF Flyers a shot and the very first pair I ordered were perfect. So stoked on these shoes! Comfy, fit right out of the box with no break-in time, no blisters, and they definitely have more 'cush' and support than Converse (which basically have none). I've been officially converted. Oh, and I ordered my usual women's size 9.5 and whatever men's size they sent me as its equivalent fits just great (which I could not say for the Converse). These are my new everyday kicking-around shoes for summer for sure.
I have not worn PF Flyers since I was 10-11 years old. I have worn Converse and Rocket Dog, I am so happy that I found them. I cannot say enough that I love them, they are just as comfortable as they were 50 years ago. Please try them!
I've been wearing Chucks for 22 years and have found them increasingly uncomfortable even with insoles. I took a gamble on PF Flyers and am extremely satisfied. They don't have the nostalgia of a fresh pair of Chucks. They do have their own aura with quirky design features. Combined with comfort from a decent insole and thicker outsole, they have won me over instantly. And no 90's kid can think PF's without the Sandlot!

Yay or Nay? A Giant Yay! After viewing the video on Zappos for this PF Flyer sneaker, I learned that there was a cushioned insert for extra comfort! Zappos delivery was lightning fast, and the PF Flyers more than lived up to my expectations! True to size, I'm a 7.5 or an 8, so I ordered the 8 and they are perfect! Kudos to Zappos on price, delivery and a Video infomercial that sealed the deal!
I was disappointed! The description said "Sandlot" so I thought it was the Sandlot limited edition. It wasn't, it's just the PF Flyer, not the Sandlot.
I fell in love with these when I saw them online... when I got them it was even better! The color is a beautiful ROSE pink, REALLY pretty! The shoe hugs the foot really well, and the sole feels very cushioned but it does runs about half size too large. I ordered my regular size 8 and it was too long. =( My big toe was pretty much at the seem of the top rubber and canvas (might be because the shoe is unisex?). Returning it and ordering the 7.5.

These shoes are quite comfortable. They are also stylish and versatile. I have worn them with blue jeans and even with a suit for a dress casual look. A bit more bold and edgy in appearance than the comparable Converse. They are more comfortable, too. The size appears to run small. I wear a 12 in almost every shoe but had to return the 12 for a 13 in these.
I thought these were pretty cool, but didn't like how they looked on my feet. They are much more comfortable than Converse. The one thing that bugged me was where the shoe creased when I walked. It dug into the top of my foot and I thought that would become uncomfortable over time.

I'm still on the fence about these Cousey PF Flyers, I love the vintage style, but find them to be no as comfortable as my Jack Purcells. The toe box seems especially narrow. Time will tell if they get comfortable with wear. But I have noticed that they seem to be separating a little in one spot, after only wearing them 3 times. I will have to wait and see if this continues to be an issue.

I wear an 12 narrow womens, I found these to fit well and were not too "boatish," very cute with summer shifts. Chuck Taylors did not look as cute, or fit as well, too wide at the ball of the foot for me. The laces on these go farther down the shoe so they don't look as long, and you can tighten them a bit more for a better fit. Love 'em!
I wore the first pair out so I purchased another! They are more for show than for practicality or comfort. I wore them as a little girl and they look so cute. I replaced the "arch support" they come with, with a Spenco and my orthotics.
Make me run faster and jump higher. Plus they look awesome with jeans. Highly recommended.
The Grey color is god-awful in my opinion. Approximately twice as dark as it appears in the pictures. The only reason the style and overall get 3 stars is because the Navy colored ones look alright. But I just can't imagine these Grey ones going with anything. They're hideous. There is a very elaborate floral design on the interior of the shoe, if that matters to you. Little flowers and leaves. It's not really my style, though I could imagine wearing the Navy blue's. Why are these called suede? They don't even use a faux suede material let alone real suede. It's what I would call threaded canvas as the exterior does not feel as durable as true canvas.
Just an observation: the newer models (2011-present) of the PF Flyers don't have the same ankle support and seem to be a tad cheaply made in terms of the material used. the past-2010 models are the legit PF Flyers and even comes with the blueprint tissue inside the box. kind of weird for PF Flyers to downgrade in terms of their quality, Luckily I own the 2010 models and the patch is not rubber it's sewed fabric.
I used to wear PF Flyers years ago and, unlike Jack Purcells, they are still well made. I seem to remember that they run large. I ordered a size 9 to accommodate orthotics (I'm really an 8 1/2) but found the 9s too big and even the 8 1/2 a little roomy. Also, the arch insert can be removed. I like the way they look and have had compliments.
I thought I would be getting one of every color. Like the classic styling. Two weeks in. Hole in left heel blisters on both feet. Way too narrow. Cheap construction. You get what you pay for. . Won't buy them again. I really wanted and expected to like these. Feet are very sore. Complete waste of money. Wish I would have put the money toward another pair of Merrells.
