- The Petzl® Tikka®2 is a versatile four LED headlamp that offers three lighting modes.
- Three lighting modes: maximum, economic and flashing mode. The economic mode optimizes battery life and therefore provides a long burn-time of up to 120 hours.
- Four LEDs deliver 40 lumens of light and provide enough light to see over a distance of 29 meters. Light beam can be aimed.
- Reliable, easy-to-use push-button switch limits inadvertently turning on the lamp during storage.
- Battery charge indicator light comes on when the headlamp illuminates for less than 5 min, and there is only 50% burn-time remaining for proximity lighting.
- Compatible with lithium batteries which are lighter than alkaline batteries and perform better at lower temperatures.
- Compartment has an easy-to-use system that allows the user to very easily change the batteries or to equip the headlamp with the ADAPT mounting system.
- Single compartment contains LEDs and batteries.
- Adjustable headband provides a comfortable, secure fit.
- Operates on three alkaline AAA/LR03 batteries (included).

This is a great value; lots of light and little weight or bulk. It has only the feature you need and is not loaded with extra "stuff". Has a very simple switch.
Brands I'd also recommend: none- buy the good stuff

As per usual, Petzl has a quality product here. I am more than a little disappointed that the red and greem insert lenses from the older model no longer work, but I suppose you can always buy the plus to get the red lens.
