We love this bag! Our first diaper bag just failed. When you filled it, the flap wouldn't stay closed and the easy-clean materials were lacking in hand and comfort. This bag has made traveling with an infant much easier! I almost use it exclusively as a messenger style bag and don't see the fuss of the other complaints. It fits nicely as a messenger. My wife uses it as a backpack and has no complaints. My only nit pick is the chrome clips, which function well and are sturdy, can scratch your car if you're not careful dig into you a bit if they're positioned poorly. Otherwise the generous size, the organization of the pockets, the 2 sets of magnets on the closure (for full and really full), and the diaper pad are thoughtfully well designed. When I use the bag, I don't notice it - that is it doesn't get in the way of the task at hand. And the form is there too because it is just a nice looking bag, well made with quality materials. There is a reason PPB has changed the look of the diaper bag industry.

This would be a great purchase if it were designed to be something to be admired on a shelf, but unfortunately, the functionality is terrible. The fabric is beautiful and seems strong and durable. However, the main selling point to me is the ability to convert it from shoulder bag to backpack, but this bag fails that function. The shoulder straps are unpadded strips of nylon webbing and are placed too wide apart to be comfortable.. No matter how I adjusted the lenght of the shoulder straps, the bag hung ackwardly and uncomfortably on my back and tilted away from my back at a strange angle instead of lying flush against my back. I could not imagine how one could ever use it as a backpack. I'm 5'3", and when I tried it on as a messenger bag, it looked huge against me. It's a large bag, but due to the construction and padding is actually very heavy and doesn't hold as much as one would expect for the size. It's very deep, so one would have to fish deep down into the bag to get items. I think I will do better with either a conventional backpack or a conventional messenger back.

I don't see what all the hype is about this bag. Why the high price? It does have a nice look and some functionality but overall, the negatives outweigh the positives. 1. It's heavy. While the fabric seems nice in the sense that it'd be easy to clean, it's stiff and heavy, and doesn't have a nice feel. 2. Either mode of carrying is uncomfortable. The backpack is too wide to fit my back (I'm 5'5" and 130 not pregnant), and the shoulder strap seems like it will be a constant struggle with sliding off. 3. There's not an easy-access outer pocket, which is nice for some quick-grab items. 4. The side pockets are hopelessly deep and narrow. They would be inconvenient for fitting most bottles, I think. 5. The interior of the bag is deep and the opening is not wide. I can just envision digging and digging for items, unable to find them because of the shape of this bag. I do like the attached changing station option, but that is not enough to make me keep this pricey bag.
