Glazed Powder Room Case

This PRC is the perfect size in which to put my purse essentials, such as a nail file, clippers, gum, bandaids, travel kleenex, travel size dental floss, etc. It fits in my diaper bag or in a decent sized purse, and makes changing out purses/diaper bags a breeze. The glazed material on the outside is wipeable and the inside has a zipper pocket. There's also a zipper pocket on the outside. Love it!

Very happy with the satchel, glazed coating makes keeping it clean so much easier. Plenty of room for a day out with my 18 month old during the warm months (purchased for summer months only). Typically have 1 powder room bag with diapers, wipes, and changing pad. Extra set of clothes in 1 pocket. Random toiletries in another pocket. Snacks and perhaps another item, still so much room left. Sippy on the side exterior pocket, my wallet and phone in the front. Again lots of room to spare. Only complaint are the seat belt backpack straps. Not the most comfy when rubbed on the skin (tank tops in the summer). Doesn't bother me when wearing normal t-shirts, jacket, etc. Recommend.

I never write reviews. But this bag is the best diaper bag I've had and I've had quite a few! Holds it all for my baby & toddler. Just keep in mind that it expands out. Straps are very comfortable. Although the bag weighs quite a bit on its own, the straps are so comfy it's more than fine. I'm in love. Now I wants the other 2 colors. You won't be disappointed.

This bag looks beautiful and is well laid out for a diaper bag. Unfortunately, the zipper has detached from the side of the bag after about eight months of use. I have never had that happen with a bag before, and I am really disappointed. Because of the tear, I would not recommend it. I think for the price, it should really last longer than eight months.

I'm not pregnant; my son is 14, and I have no plans to ever be pregnant again. I believe biology is with me on this. But I wanted a bag big enough to stuff my entire small handbag (a Fluevog Prepare Pouch) into, without having to empty it, and to put in my drawstring bag with my knitting project in it, and still have room for my Surface Pro. (Recently I've had to sit around doctor's offices and car service waiting rooms and stuff, and have only had my phone with me. That's boring.) So, anyway, I also wanted something with a sort of old-fashioned romantic appeal. I read that this bag was 4.5 pounds empty, which was a bit scary, but plumped for it anyway because it seemed perfect in all other ways. And it is perfect! Except that it does, indeed, weigh 4.5 pounds when empty. But it has room for everything and more, if I pick something up at the shop, or whatever. Love it. I have heard that Petunia is coming out with new Cake designs for fall, and am eagerly looking forward to those, too.

This bag didn't look as nice in person and it was way too heavy! I returned it.

I found the bag at Nordstroms, loved it, just couldn't figure out the accessories! Its a diaper bag! Forget about that, I don't have babies, but I love it as a purse. I actually had to look it up to find out exactly what the "extras" were (diaper changing pad and a wipe case). Very stylish, and I will continue to carry it...as a purse.

I love my Petunia Pickle Bottom Sashay Satchel in the beautiful Waterloo Stop. It's the perfect diaper bag - stylish, hands free, and can be a purse as well. I shopped around for weeks for the most competitive price, and Zappos won hands down - plus free shipping. Can't be beat!

I absolutely love this phone case. The pattern is not too loud but the hint of the green that can still be seen when it is on the phone it really cute. It slips in and out of my pocket easily. I love that the edges still stand just a bit higher than the screen so impact from dropping it is more likely to hit the case than the phone. Not a bad price either!

I love this bag; and I don't even have children! It's very sturdy, the compartments & divider inside make it very convenient too! As far as diaper bag goes; I think due to the size; this wouldn't be a great "everyday" diaper bag; more grab & go running quick errands type bag. With that being said; you could easily use this as your purse too. It's big enough to hold everything; but not so big you can't find anything. The bag was very well thought out and executed during the design and manufacturing process. Excellent price for the quality & construction. I'll stop now.. One last thing; I've had people stop me and ask about it. Wait.. One more one last thing ;), the zipper on top. It's easy to open & close w/ one hand, especially if your purse/bag tends to fall over &/or off of things.

This train case is very spacious and has pockets on the sides and back for organization. There is also a zipper inside the lid for additional organziation. I especially love the material on the outside which is easy to wipe clean.

Absolutely gorgeous! But as other buyers said, it is not big enough to work as my diaper bag. I carry a thermos and snack tower that are too tall to get the bag zipped when they are both in there. The quality and fabric of the bag are awesome. I am going to try the Hampton Carry All in the same fabric. If I didn't have the tall thermos and snack tower I would definitely be keeping this bag!

So far, I am happy with this purchase. The main compartment is not huge but I prefer that so I don't end up adding items I don't need. Necessities only. I also like that this bag does not look like a diaper bag.

I love this bag. After trying a couple of different style bags from other designers I've finally found something that works for me. It functions as diaper bag, keeping diapers, wipes, etc. in the separate bottom compartment out of sight from my own personal items. I don't feel like I'm lugging around a diaper bag and take this with me everywhere (even when I'm without baby). I've finally found a bag that functions like a diaper bag but feels like a larger purse.

I have this bag (not from Zappos, I purchased elsewhere), but it is absolutely beautiful when you see/handle it in purpose! Super spacious! I already have another PPB satchel that I use daily so I actually bought this bag as a travel bag for myself... Great for short overnight trips, etc! Also, I LOVE the look and feel of the organic cotton fabric! Beautiful bag!

I am on my second Sashay Satchel from Petunia Pickle Bottom (Winter/Fall and Spring/Summer pattern. They are indestructible otherwise). Overall I love this bag, but just a few pros and cons: The bags are made of glazed fabric are super durable and easy to wipe down. It is just the right size to hold everything you need for baby. I prefer carrying this backpack style bag with a Brica Elite GoPad inside it for changes instead of the larger and more popular PPB Boxy Backpack. When baby no longer needs a change pad you cannot remove it from the Boxy Backpack, and it take up a lot of valuable room. The magazine pockets on the front and back do not hold very much, unless they are flat. They are an ingenious way of hiding the backpack straps if you do not wish to use them though. I started out with a Boxy Backpack and prefer this style much more. The bags bat of the embossed quilted fabrics and organic cottons are not as durable. I started out with a bag in the embossed brown color (Hotel DeVille Stop) and I had to exchange it through PPB for another bag. The stitching on the embossed pattern popped in a few places and held onto little balls of lint. It was not cute. Excellent customer service from PPB. Although it lists four bottle pockets, the inside bottle pockets are opposite the outside bottle pockets, so if you have got a bottle on the outside of the bag, the inside pocket pulls too tight and you cannot fit a bottle inside. You can fit something smaller though, like a tube of sunscreen or a binky. The backpack straps get twisty because they are on swivel clips. You have to take an extra 30 second to right the straps after you put the bag on. I have worn it all day and been comfortable, though. I also had the problem of the blue dye from my jeans rubbing off on the bag and not coming off even after I scrubbed it. I later learned that laying the dry bag out in the sun for an hour or so completely removed the stain and did not damage the bag. Hooray!

I have to say this wasn't the purse I had set out to buy. The fact it came with a changing pad and wipes case made me believe it was a diaper bag. The reasons I purchased it was for the coated fabric, the cute orange and gray pattern, and the great return policy of Zappos (in case I didn't love it). I love this purse! I've been searching for a new purse for some time now. This clutch purse is perfect to hold all my stuff without adding unnecessary bulk, no more "fishing" for items. The pictures don't show that there are three compartments in the interior. I use the strap as a shoulder strap and it works great for me. The coating on the bag is awesome. I love that I can wipe it off to keep it clean. I removed the changing pad and wipes case. My children are older but this purse works for more then just women with young children.

I was deciding between the sashay and the boxy backpack, and ended up getting the sashay. I am more of a purse person and the boxy backpack is, well big and boxy. I am 5 feet tall so it looks like the boxy is wearing me. Also I like that the zipper on the sashay goes around the side, so it's easier to dig into the bag (the boxy only goes through the width of the bag). Why I like it: I have a 6 months old and this bag is big enough to pack all the stuff he needs, though it may not be big enough if you have more than one kid. The inside lining is a light gray color so it helps you see what's inside. I love you can use it either as a backpack and shoulder bag. The shoulder bag straps are comfy, while I wish the backpack straps had a bit more padding. At first I wished the straps were removable but then I realized I'd just take the straps off and forget to bring them, plus since they are flat they don't take up a lot space. I also like the exterior is easy to clean, most dirt can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Oh, and of course the pretty prints (I have the Daydreaming in Dax). I have gotten many compliments on this diaper bag. My wish list: it would be awesome if there is a "mammy's pocket" like the Ju Ju Be's BFF (which I also have). You could use the magazine pocket but for me its not big enough. Also the front magazine pocket has a magnet closure, so if you have bulky stuff in there (i.e. a fat wallet) it will pop open. I also wish there is a top handle. I could probably use more interior pockets, there are only 3 inside - one with zipper, one for the mat and one for the wipe case. There are also 2 interior side "bottle pockets", but unless your baby uses a tall and skinny bottle, otherwise it barely fits (we use Avent); and if you put the bottle inside the side pockets, I find that you kind of lose some space on the exterior side pockets, since the material doesn't stretch. My baby's bottle will not fit in the exterior side pockets, so I use them for lotions and cell phone. I am not crazy about the wipe case and the mat included, I actually use my own. Perhaps I don't have wide shoulders, sometimes the backpack straps do slide off. And, this bag is expensive! Overall I like this bag, it's definitely stylish, there are many cute pattern/color options; it is functional but I feel like it should do better, especially for the price you pay. There are other diaper bags out there in the same price range but more mommy friendly, in my opinion.

This bag was my first foray into the world of PPB Cake bags. (Aside from the cameo clutch, that I used more as a purse than a diaper bag before baby was even born) This bag is gorgeous, BUT, unless you're a nursing and disposable diaper using under-packer, it's just not big enough. Okay, you could probably make everything fit if you use bottles, but it's a tight squeeze. BEAUTIFUL bag, but just not big enough to fit everything for bottle feeding and cloth diapering. Seriously, though, pretty enough to use as an everyday purse after baby!

Oh I'm in love! I've bought one of each of the cake bags... and this one finally fits my unique needs! (Well, not so unique) When I was nursing and using disposable diapers, the clutch was the perfect size. The cosmo carry all worked really well, too, before the days of bottles and cloth diapers. Then I switched to formula and cloth diapers... which means a TON more to carry in the diaper bag! I LOVE the society satchel, but I'm so glad I ordered the holdall because it's finally a bag big enough for cloth diapers AND bottles! It's smaller than the petunia weekender (which is another bag that works well for the cloth diapering mama) but still big enough to fit everything I need for a full day out. :) LOVE LOVE LOVE!
