Like this classically styled bag, but thought the image and color name of "buttercup" would more closely resemble a softer, pale yellow color of butter, instead it was more of a darker golden yellowy color. I also thought it was a little too big and slightly more dressy than what I would consider using when choosing a "cross body" bag for use. Nice bag, just wasn't suitable for me.
I bought it in poppy red. It's more like a dark shade if coral. I love the bag. It arrived today and the leather is nice, soft and supple. At first the straps were too short but then I realized it was adjustable. It's a nice size and big enough to put a lot of stuff in there. Great shoulder bag for a great price. I hate name brand bags with their logo plastered everywhere. If you're looking for a decent leather shoulder bag that's stylish but not in your face, this is the bag for that.
I purchased the lake color, which in the photo looks like a light powder blue. It is a light to medium mint green in person. I have to decide whether I will keep it or send it back. I just bought a Turquoise bag that I love, so I cannot get two green/blue bags. For this much money, I want everything, so I will probably return it. Otherwise, this bag is quality and the whip-stitching, the leather tassels, and the satin nickel hardware make the whole bag super stylish. The tassels unzip to reveal a small pocket on each side. These are the only external pockets. The interior has the usual slip-pockets, zipped middle, and zipped side. The lining is the leopard fabric. I would like the matching leather strap wider (it is about ¾") and it is made for crossbody wear, not a shoulder strap! The leather is super soft for a pebbled leather, but that is what makes it Perlina.
Okay, I really wanted to love this bag...sad to say it really is not worth the money, size is much smaller than stated, and the color is mustard. Really is not an attractive bag. Sorry, back it goes.
The idea of this purse is great; however, the gold is already rubbing off in many areas. The purse looks like you've had it for years. Not the look for me.
