Penny Skateboards
Penny founder Ben Mackay received his first plastic skateboard when he was 5-years old. "I got my board second hand and painted it blue with gold pinstripes. I thought it was the baddest thing ever." Nearly 30 years later, he realized it was time to bring that little plastic board back for good.
With 12 years experience in skateboard manufacturing, Mackay and the rest of the Penny crew has a strong appreciation for what it takes to make great quality skateboards. "I've channeled everything I've learnt in manufacturing and design to come up with a high performance, long lasting, and mega fun plastic skateboard," says Mackay. Very happy with purchase. Completely new to skating and such and I actually learned on this exact board. It may be more difficult to use than a regular sized cruise board, however, I wouldn't want any other. Penny is a great brand with high quality products. The deck is a very nice, hard plastic (which I got in glow in the dark), the trucks are solid and stable, and the wheels glide as smooth as I've ever felt on any board. Totally satisfied overall with the product. The only thing that I would nitpick about this order is that it arrived quite late. I ordered it Thursday afternoon (after the 1 pm order deadline for next day) which led to me expecting it Saturday. It did not arrive until Monday, however, past deliveries have been on time so I don't believe the slow delivery will be a consistent issue.
I love these boards but I ordered the mint one and when I received it, it was nowhere close to a mint color. It was just a lighter green.
This is a very excellent board. I enjoy riding it a lot. It's a nice little board that you can take anywhere with you. It is very smooth depending on where you skate. It also carves/turns very well. I would recommend this board to anyone.
Good case, hugs phone body well. Wish it would be a bit thicker material for more protection.
My 11 year old ordered this Penny board Friday night and received it Monday afternoon! He rides it everyday and loves it!
The wheels size should be listed as I believe this is measured at 59mm. These are smooth and quiet. Made for cruising, not for power sliding. They are a bit on the heavy size. Make sure you have the inward twirl facing outwards as it's designed for better turning grip. This color is exactly how it is displayed here. I have this paired up with 7.75 Indy trucks and 7.75 board. I know it's a bit too big for my board setup but it rides and turns just as expected with almost no wheel bite. So my recommendation would be to have a size 8 truck/board for more turning capabilities.
This board is the best. I bought this for my daughter and she loves it. She brings it to the park all the time. This is a great birthday present because it is just amazing. It's rides nice and is very stylish. It's great for boys and girls even teens.
I love these wheels and if I want a new pair for my penny nickel board I will come here first.
Awesome, that's all I can say. Yes I'm an illegible teen but the board is so fun to ride on it's crazy. Only broke two bones riding this. PS This is not a real review!

This skateboard is the perfect cruiser for someone who likes a lightweight, portable, fast board from carving to cruising around town. This in my opinion is the best cruiser on the market.

This board is what everyone who wants a durable fun cruiser board. There are Abec 7 Penny bearings and they are amazing, I've had mine for 2 months and I always want to ride it. The wheels are perfect for going cruising everywhere. Thia board reminds me of a Santa Cruz Cruiser. I recommend this board to someone who wants to cruise in the suburbs because of its size its perfect.
It came is a large box and the board is a little smaller than what I expected, but I still love it!
Great product! Skateboard is one of the smoothest rides. My 11 year old can't put it down. A word to the wise. Use safety equipment as accidents will happen along the way. All in all a great item for all skate board enthusiasts. Kudos to Zappos great service!
These boards are fun and are literally flying off the shelves at all the shops in my area. This will be my second purchase seeing as they were popular enough for somebody to steel out of my truck.
