Excellent shoe, but it is not fully leather lined. The shoes fit his wide foot very well, moderately easy to put on. They are not fully lined with leather, though. Only the top part of the shoe (about 1/2 inch) is lined with leather, the rest of the shoe is lined with soft mesh fabric. The insoles are cushioned and top of the insole appears to be leather. The only thing I do not like about this shoe is that the tongue is short and it is not attached to the strap, as a result when my son puts them on by himself the tongue gets squished at the front.

We love the Pediped shoes. This is my grandson's second pair of "Jake" shoes. (He outgrew the last pair.) They hold up well and look so nice.

We chose the pediped Jake toddler shoe for our 2 year old. He actually had the exact same shoe the previous fall/winter and here's why. He had mastered walking, but had taken many trips, spills and falls as all boys do. The shoes lasted him all fall, winter and into the spring withstanding the rain and other elements and still look amazing. Our son's feet are a little wide and the pedipeds are a perfect fit.

I love them. They're a little pricey for how quickly how son goes through them (and we always have a couple pair for each size), but they're so cute and good for his feet. I think they've helped him become more agile as he walks and runs. The nice thing about this style is that it can pass as a sporty sneaker with play clothes and a casual shoe with nice clothes, so they're versatile. Also, as another reader suggested, I do put them in the washing machine to clean them, then delicate cycle, air dry.

I purchased these for my son for Spring. I LOVE them! They fit great and are adorable. I normally would not have purchased them since they only come in (M) width because my son has a little bit of a wide foot. I read some reviews though and they seemed to fit a little wider than normal--which they do. I love that, but if you are looking for a narrow shoe, then you may need to pick another one. If you have a little boy with normal to wide feet, these would be perfect. I never write reviews, but I have been so pleased with these shoes & Zappos that I thought I would come here and write reviews for all of the shoes I purchased for him for Spring (Crocs too--love those!). Overall this shoe is a great causal or dress shoe and seems like it will hold up well. I would recommend it to anyone!

I love Zappos. I've ordered many pairs of shoes from them and appreciate their great return policy. My most recent order was for a pair of Pediped shoes for my 2 year old son. The shoes are great, perfect for growing feet and well-worth the price. They are flexible and allow for flexion, yet supportive. They are also great for wide feet, as my son has wide feet and these are really comfortable for him. And of course Zappos shipped quickly and made it another great shopping experience!

My son was 2 yr old when I bought these shoes and granted he plays rough, these shoes did not last a month. I had to replace them. The new one (Jumping Jacks) were much more sturdier and held for much longer (he was still playing rough!). So, I will never buy pediped's again.

I am a fan of PediPed infants\/childrens shoes. They are flexible, made extremely well, and the styles are so adorable. I highly recommend this brand of shoes for all infants\/children.

My 2.5 yo loves these shoes. They are soft and comfy and seemingly true to size. His foot is wide, and these shoes fit even with thicker socks. He tells me he likes to look like a 'big boy' with shoe laces, even though the shoes are actually slip on. He can get them on and off easily and by himself. Great looking shoe.

My son has worn Pedipeds since he was an infant. Now that he is walking, I wanted to give him something with more support. The Pediped Jake toddler was the perfect fit and great support for an active 16.5 month old. He is in daycare and wears his shoes all day long. They are so perfect for play and he's comfortable in them while he is just relaxing, too. I highly recommend Pedipeds of any kind! I only get them through Zappos as the selection is awesome and the shipping timetable is absolutely amazing. I love Zappos and I love Pedipeds.

I love the Pediped brand for my kids. It is a great way for my toddler to transition from the soft baby shoes to regular shoes. They are very comfortable and flexible. This pair is more sturdy and like regular sneakers. My son loves to wear them and walks to his closet to pick them out. They are very well made and seem to last forever. They are still in very good condition when he has outgrown them.

I like this shoe. Pediped's are great shoes. There are a few things that bug me about them, though. The material doesn't wear the greatest. I wish it were more washable. The sole is a little clunky, which makes the shoe a bit heavy. Maybe it's just because my guy is a relatively new walker, but he's always clomping around in these a little awkwardly. The leather lining does get a bit smelly after a lot of use. (I like the new material that Pediped is using now, that absorbs and wicks mositure.). They do have good support and I would recommend them, even though they do have some drawbacks.
