I know Pearl Izumi cuts their Pro and Elite lines (of which these knickers belong to) trimmer than their entry-level Select line, but these are really tiny! I ordered them in a small, which is my normal size (I am 5'7" 125 pounds). They were so tight in the waist that I heard some of the stitching rip as I pulled them on, which surprised me because it is a wide waistband, which I thought would be more forgiving and stretchy. The legs appeared to be all right, and were nicely shaped. Still, I would not recommend these because the cut seems off, also I owned a pair of P.I. Select Symphony bibs (same material as these) and after wearing them only a few times, a small hole developed in along some of the front stitching. I expect much better quality for something they charge so much for. I will keep searching for the perfect cycling capris.

I really like these. I am a pretty small build person and ordered a small (5'4, 114lbs). They fit great and are really good for those rides where you know it just isn't going to get warm. I am always cold. The only thing that's a little annoying is that the grippers just below the knees don't really squeeze my legs and they ride up just a bit in the knee area. I've got pretty skinny legs though. They look really good on too. I prefer the 'orange' chamois that PI produces. Very comfortable.
