I love these shoes so much, I'm writing a second review! They are insanely cushiony, the arch support and overall support is incredible. I feel like these shoes take me for a walk instead of me walking in them. I do light jogging, and they are great for that too. These are hands-down the best pair of walking/running shoes I've ever owned. I bought some Solomans at the same time I bought these so I could compare them, and though the Solomans were good and very comfortable, the Pearls just felt like they were going to hold up better, and they were just a little more cushiony. I always wear and 8 1/2 and these felt perfect in length and width.

The best pair of shoes I’ve owned. Excellent cushion, support, and arch support. Very light weight. True to size. My previous pair of shoes was Nike Shox Vivify, and these are far better. I am a moderate pronater and have heel problems, and these shoes make my feet feel great.

Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthExcellent for fallen arches and heel problems! As a result of an accident many years ago, I've had problems in one of my heels. When it became excruciating I went to my structural therapist, who told me my arch had fallen and the pain problem in the heel was related to tendon and, thus, arch issues. Besides physical therapy, I was told to get orthotics, which has increased my shoe size by half a size. My foot also seems to now require a half size larger, pushing my shoe sizes up to 7.5 with an insert (from a 6.5). The moment I slipped this shoe on my foot, I noticed a HUGE difference in arch support. I was looking for a black shoe and despite my excellent fit with the Nike Air Series, this particular model by Pearl Izumi wins by a landslide. I'm marking it half size smaller but I'm right in between a size 6.5 and 7. If a shoe runs slightly smaller my size gets bumped up to a 7. Despite NOT putting an orthotic in this shoe (it doesn't need one), one full size larger with thick socks fits well. I would definitely advise making sure this shoe fits you perfectly. When I tried the 7, it was too snug and my toes were hitting the bumper of the shoe. The excellent arch support was not evident until I changed shoe sizes. I give this shoe 5 toes up!
