Patagonia's values reflect those of a business that started as a band of climbers and surfers who wanted to stay out as long as they can, doing what they love, no matter the weather. Patagonia's design approach to every product, from technical shells for snow and ice, to moisture-wicking underclothes, to everyday clothes, demonstrates a functional bias toward simplicity and utility. Quality is impeccable, and the guarantee lifelong.
Patagonia's love of wild and beautiful places demands participation in the fight to save them and to help reverse the steep decline in the overall environmental health of the planet. They use organic cotton; most polyester is recycled. They give moral support - and 1% of sales, $25 million to date - to hundreds of grassroots environmental groups in the U.S., Europe and Japan.

I own a lot of Patagonia gear (waders, 2-3 packable down jackets, wading boots, couple shirts). This was the first Patagonia article I was very disappointed with. The knitting behind the cotton front makes the hat stand up too much. There is no way to break this hat into a fitted shape. The retro plastic band in the back, while old school is prone to cracking and breaking. I can see this hat being perfect for mopheaded teens who like big fat flat brimmed hats. I'll stay away from all Patagonia trucker hats.

I purchased this hat for my fisherman husband. He loves it. I've already machine washed it once in one of those baseball hat shaped forms and it came out great.

The compliments I get when wearing this hat are endless. I am used to wearin New era MLB caps but wanted to try something different so I purchased the Yellow hat and no lie I am starting to become a fan of Patagonia clothing. This is truly an amazing and Awesome Product that I definitely would recommend to anybody.
