This is a great light jacket. I wear it when running in fall/winter and it's great because it keeps the cold wind out without being too heavy so you don't sweat. Very happy with it.

This is a great lightweight, very breathable jacket! I tested the jacket while running five miles in 42° with slight drizzle and 15-20 MPH wind (wind chill in mid 30's). The jacket blocked the wind perfectly and at the same time kept me from over heating. It also blocked the light rain nicely. I cannot say enough good things about this superb jacket. It is easy to pack and travel with. It will not weigh you down, but it keeps the wind out and the warmth in. I am not sure what to say about the arm pocket because I do not run with an iPod. It does keep some emergency money safe and dry.
Brands I'd also recommend: Brooks, Asics

About Patagonia
Patagonia's values reflect those of a business that started as a band of climbers and surfers who wanted to stay out as long as they can, doing what they love, no matter the weather. Patagonia's design approach to every product, from technical shells for snow and ice, to moisture-wicking underclothes, to everyday clothes, demonstrates a functional bias toward simplicity and utility. Quality is impeccable, and the guarantee lifelong.
Patagonia's love of wild and beautiful places demands participation in the fight to save them and to help reverse the steep decline in the overall environmental health of the planet. They use organic cotton; most polyester is recycled. They give moral support - and 1% of sales, $25 million to date - to hundreds of grassroots environmental groups in the U.S., Europe and Japan.
