Patagonia's values reflect those of a business that started as a band of climbers and surfers who wanted to stay out as long as they can, doing what they love, no matter the weather. Patagonia's design approach to every product, from technical shells for snow and ice, to moisture-wicking underclothes, to everyday clothes, demonstrates a functional bias toward simplicity and utility. Quality is impeccable, and the guarantee lifelong.
Patagonia's love of wild and beautiful places demands participation in the fight to save them and to help reverse the steep decline in the overall environmental health of the planet. They use organic cotton; most polyester is recycled. They give moral support - and 1% of sales, $25 million to date - to hundreds of grassroots environmental groups in the U.S., Europe and Japan.

These are very nice bottoms with a flattering cut. They are a bit skimpy for taking the kids to the pool, but would have been a reliable favorite a few years ago for me. I'm sticking with the Sunamee bottoms for a little more coverage.

Great fitting bottom! Sits low on the hips and is very flattering. Very reliable during pool workouts.

These bikini bottoms are alright, but in my personal preference don't fit as well as a string bikini (cuts into your side). Although, if you do like this type of a bikini bottom the material is nice and it is made very well. The Adour fits a lot better than the Banded Batina (Banded Batina might fit better if you have a larger bottom half). I personally went with a Roxy string bikini bottom to match the Patagonia black halter.

I did end up keeping these but I think they're very small on me and I'll probably never end up wearing them (unless I lose weight, haha). They are a pretty skimpy cut - not "full" coverage - there's a good deal of cheek on display. I got the size M and I'm 5'5" and 115 lbs. I'm not curvy by any means and I feel like they barely cover what's legally required - not a lot of fabric! They do seem well made and don't appear to ride up but I've only tried them on so far, haven't worn to the beach.

I love Patagonia's swimwear, but these were not the swim bottoms for me. I'm 5'6", 130 lbs, and I normally wear a size 4-6. I have a bit of a booty, and these didn't even come close to covering it. Besides the lack of coverage, the small fit well. FYI- My sister is the same height and weight as me, but she's built more straight up and down, and these look fantastic on her.
