I really like the look/style of these shoes. Unfortunately, they were very uncomfortable. Fortunately, Zappos has an excellent return policy. The shoes made me feel like my feet were tilted to the inside with no arch support. I have normal feet with no arch issues. Patagonia makes excellent products, but these were the first pair of Patagonia shoes that I've tried. Instead of these, I recommend Salomons. I've had no less than 15 pair of Salomons in the past decade. They are comfortable and long lasting.

I'd also recommend: Salomon

These shoes look super cool, are lightweight, and certainly fit the promise of being much more than approach shoes. Based upon comments from other reviews I bought 1/2 size larger than my normal size. After wearing them outside I think this was a mistake so get your normali shoes size. I have a narrow foot but I have been able to cinch up the laces to accommodate for this issue.

Great shoe. Very low profile around the ankle. And this is a summertime shoe. I wore it over the holidays in CO and my feet were not warm. But that was my mistake. This shoe is also extremely lightweight. So that's good.

Look nice but run very small. I should have paid better attention to the reviews. Felt like 1.5 size too small.

I love these shoes. I ordered them because I was looking for a low-drop approach shoe to use for easy climbing and long days in the mountains or at the crag. And they are great for that. But I have been surprised by how much I like running in them. They're pretty minimal, with little support and a 4mm drop. There's an unobtrusive but effective rock plate in the forefoot. They can be loosened up in the toe box to allow your foot to splay or tightened down for climbing. They're basically all I run in these days (my previous shoes were Inov-8 245). Now I wear them to work, traveling and out and about. They're just very comfortable and functional. I really hope Patagonia keeps making them and doesn't mess with the recipe. One gripe. The sole tends to delaminate from the rand. But this was easily rectified with a little Barge cement. After that, no problems and they've been otherwise very durable.
