So I have roughly 10 pairs of Gonia shorts all size 33. They must have changed their fit on these as i need a 34. Not for my waist so much but for my hips and thighs. great shorts. buy 1 size larger than normal.

Great fitting, light-weight, stretchy short. Perfect for running in the hills or cruising around town. Length hits my knee. Waist seem to run small. Only complaint: needs a second outer pocket on left leg, like the one on right leg.
