I just ordered the nano and have been able to test it out due to the weather cooling off at night! It is the quintessential piece for winter, amazing to layer with or to wear alone, being that it is windproof and water resistant - camping, climbing, clubbing, you name it - perfection... It packs down to almost nothing and is super light, already praying for snow!

I got the Nano Puff a couple months ago and have been excited to use it as the weather has gotten cooler. Patagonia really made a gem with this one. The jacket is super lightweight, but shockingly warm. During those "just in case" nights and early mornings, I have been grateful the jacket easily compresses small enough to stick in my purse without being a bother. I've also stuck it in my mountain biking pack as an emergency layer and have appreciated it being so light! I've never wished it to be heavier because the thing provides an amazing amount of warmth for what it is! Truly, I'm impressed. My one (minor) complaint is the jacket doesn't have any side pockets, which does allow for a lighter, more compressible jacket, but still a feature that has takes some getting used to. Overall, it's an incredible buy. My other jackets will be staying in the closet a lot more this season.

Great jacket! I purchased it before a trip that involved car, train and walking. The jacket is very lightweight & packs small. It was warm, but light enough that I didn't get overheated when I went inside. It works as a light/medium jacket by itself or can easily be layered under another jacket. It slips on and off easily even though it goes over the head. I am a size small in most clothing, but in Patagonia/North Face/Lole, etc. I usually wear a medium top & that is the case with this jacket; could be worn smaller but then it wouldn't be as easy on/off, etc. Worth every cent.
Brands I'd also recommend: North Face, Lole, Mountain Hardwear, Marmot, Nike

A great layer over a long-sleeved shirt and under a top shell. It feels light and soft. Zip neck works well. I don't miss hand pockets. It is just the right length and size, not too tight.

About Patagonia
Patagonia's values reflect those of a business that started as a band of climbers and surfers who wanted to stay out as long as they can, doing what they love, no matter the weather. Patagonia's design approach to every product, from technical shells for snow and ice, to moisture-wicking underclothes, to everyday clothes, demonstrates a functional bias toward simplicity and utility. Quality is impeccable, and the guarantee lifelong.
Patagonia's love of wild and beautiful places demands participation in the fight to save them and to help reverse the steep decline in the overall environmental health of the planet. They use organic cotton; most polyester is recycled. They give moral support - and 1% of sales, $25 million to date - to hundreds of grassroots environmental groups in the U.S., Europe and Japan.

I bought this in vivid violet, which is a gorgeous color. I'm usually cold, and wear it indoors in my cold house and outside - just great! Great sleeve and body length. My only gripe is that it doesn't have side zip pockets for hands and items, and I didn't find the left check pocket to be terribly useful(or helpful to the look). If it had side zip pockets I would have definitely purchased at least one more. If in the future side zip pockets are added, I'll buy more.

Light-weight, very comfortable, and incredibly warm for its weight. I needed something in between my down jacket and fleece that could handle the cold without being big and bulky. Wind proof and can handle light rain if you are in a pinch. \r\n\r\nIt would be nice if it had pockets, but not a deal breaker. Well worth the price. Love it. Bought one for my wife because she kept stealing mine.

Very lightweight and yet warm. Great for travel. Took it to Australia - during their winter months - and it worked wonderful both in the city and in the bush. I am tall so I loved the nice long sleeves but I would have liked a couple more inches in body length.

Just returned from Rocky Mt Pk in Colorado. Brought the nano puff in my backpack. Weighs next to nothing and as I sat at Chasm Lake on the Longs Peak Trail to have lunch, I pulled it out and was warm as toast. Love it for most everything here in Chi-town where the weather changes daily. The fit of this jacket is loose enough to put on several light layers under yet does not look bulky. I am a small and it fits comfortably.

This pullover is great. So light, so warm and the color is fantastic. Perfect for fall and will be a great layer under a bigger coat.

This sweater is remarkably warm and comfortable. I wear it all the time, in and out of the house. It's lightweight, easy to wear and really warm. I'm almost tempted to buy another.

One word: Awesome. In more words, this top is completely worth it, even with the following annoyances: I had to go a size up to get it long enough, and there are no side pockets (which would be delightful). I don't regret this purchase, but the next one I get will be the full-zip version that Patagonia makes now.

I gave it a 4. No side pockets. Lightweight, easy to put on and take off. Very comfortable. Perfect to layer over a shirt/sweater. I got the Vivid Violet in small. I'm 5'2 110lbs, 34b/32a; I still have room to move. I even used it to run in when it was 19 degrees out. It blocked the wind and kept me warm.

This is the second Nano Puff I have had. They are my favorite jacket to pull on for walking in the early morning, wearing during the day, and curling up on the couch to read. They are extremely warm and bunch up into a small size to pack for travel. Like most of Patagonia, they run slightly small.

Love, love, love this pullover. I bought it primarily as a winter layer for cold mornings on the waters of Lake Union but I find that I am wearing it everywhere. The warmth to weight ratio is really out of this world. I wear this alone with a tank and t-shirt under warmish PNW winter days (48F). On cooler days/nights where I am working out (32F) I can layer an Icebreaker hoodie underneath and feel toasty. On nights I go out to the movies or dinner with friends I wear this with a wool peacoat over it. It really is a versatile piece. I got the fog color and I love that it is an off white. I am 5'2" and 128 pounds. I measure a 32-26-36 and an XS fits perfectly.
Brands I'd also recommend: Icebreaker, Arc'Teryx

I received my Nano yesterday and I am already ordering one in another color. What a great piece and it looks good on, too! I think it is light enough to wear indoors without getting overheated, and it is a great layering piece as well as outerwear. I got the Fog color, which I was worried that it would be too drab, however, it is a very pretty light silvery gray with a bright purple lining. I am also not one for pullover outerwear, but this is easy on/off with the long zipper. Overall, a very nice versatile piece!
