I wrote a very favorable review for this shoe yesterday 5/24/2010 and apparently, you elected not to publish it. Its OK by me, you still don't have a review posted for a very fine shoe which is about as comfortable as they come. Patagonia has made a huge leap forward in design, innovation and sustainability of the shoe line in particular. Not to put anyone else down who makes a similar shoe as the Naked Maui in Hemp, but this is the gold standard that everyone else will seek. Its by far the best of a new generation in casual-comfort footwear for some time to come. Not a single stitch was dropped or out of place, the quality control is pristine,and Patagonia stands behind what they make, another win for the consumer. If one is looking for a reasonable priced quality made non leather comfort shoe, the Naked Maui is your new sweetheart.

These shoes have worked out great. Lightweight and they keep my feet cool and dry. Plus Zappos added overnight delivery for free. They run in size with most of Patagonia's shoes. I wear a 11.5 and they fit true to size for me. Lots of cushion and the tread has held up well. I wouldn't say they were brown but more of a distressed army green. No much arch support but as you break in the shoes the foot bed is so thick that the shoe conforms with your foot. Very impressed with the quality of Patagonia and the service at Zappos.com.

Awesome looking shoe. Light and comfortable? Yes and yes. But I did find them to run slightly large (1/2 size). I ordered a Man's US 9.5 and I definitely needed a Man's size US 9.0. My heel easily slide out of the back of the shoe.

I love these shoes. They are comfortable and perfect for summer wear. The hemp fabric is thick and sturdy, but soft. These are more robust than Tom's or Sanuk's. Also, they aren't very "dressy"...more like a tennis shoe or boat shoe. They are well made (typical Patagonia quality).

Sizes run larger than most. Had to finally order a size 8 1/2 rather than my usual size 9. Wearing the shoes as I type, Comfortable and exactly what I wanted for a casual summer slip-on. As usual Zappos service and speed of free VIP delivery are what keep me as a loyal Zapposcustomer. Hope this helps!

Wearing band aids beneath elastic as a precaution. Shoe fits great toe and heel. Will wait to see how they age.

These shoes only lasted for 2 and a half months. The seams are pulling apart and holes are forming. The material is very soft canvas and cannot even withstand moderate wear. I hardly wear these and they already are falling apart.

Very disappointed with these shoes, unwearable after two months. Where is that legendary Patagonia quality? The soles are so flimsy and squishy that they offer no support of any sort after a week or two. I paid this much for these!?

I bought these for my sons for Christmas. They loved them! So comfortable and fit them perfectly. I bought them a half size smaller than they normally wear and they were perfect. Very lightweight. Zappos was amazing with their service, as always!

Love these shoes; they look great and are very comfortable. They breathe well and are very light. They run large; I usually wear an 8 but had to return for a 7.5.

The Patagonia Naked Maui is one of those evolutionary shoes that comes along and becomes a new and integral part of your lifestyle. I purchased a pair last year in May 2010 with the notion that any Patagonia quality shoe, made of hemp and weighing in at a mere 8.0 ounces had to be comfortable, and they are still. I fail to see where those griping about wear are coming from? I am 6 ft. tall and weigh in at 175 lbs. and mine are still very comfortable and wearable. In fact my Naked Maui's seemed to become even more comfortable as time molded them around my feet. The soles do show some wear, but are by no means blown out, and the uppers are good to go for at least another year. I guess some people are destructive no matter what. I do work in an office in a large airport, which causes me to walk on a multitude of varying surfaces, especially concrete, asphalt, and even marble flooring. The Maui's did great on all and in the hottest summer recorded in Charleston, WV in 67 years. I felt fortunate to have them along with Zappos incredible service

These shoes were really comfortable and easily worn with great comfort. The only problem I have is that after 6 months the inside toe of the right shoe has come loose and is now unwearable. The shoe destructed itself.

I am a Patagonia Maui nut. I have these Naked Mauis and the Maui mocs and a pair of Maui Airs. Every morning I face the challenge of which pair to wear. I love them all. I frequently choose the Naked Maui because they are a bit sturdier feeling than the others making them very slightly better for street wear...although it's really a toss--up. Love them all. For wearing anytime, anywhere.

As with the rest of the Maui line from Patagonia, these shoes are extremely light weight and very reasonably priced to my way of thinking. I will say, however, that unlike all the other Maui lines, these were just a tad disappointing due to their being significantly larger than the advertised size from my experience. I wear a 10 1/2, and after ordering those, had to return and got 10s. After trying on the 10s, I should have gone down to 9 1/2s! I can honestly say these run a full size too large. Other than that, they are extremely comfortable.

This is an amazingly light all day shoe. I use them as an alternative to boat shoes or flip flops and find them comfortable and durable. I like the look of a little wear and tear without it being over the top. I wear them with shorts, jeans and chinos. Love 'em!

Love the shoes (second pair of Patagonias) but I am glad I read the prior reviews. Actually, I did not think these could be a full size too large (the Patagonia Maui Airs fit fine at a 9 1/2) so I just ordered them a half size smaller in a 9. I then returned them for an 8 1/2 and they fit perfect. I must say that Zappos has the best return policy and fastest delivery of any online vendor from whom I have ever purchased product. I actually received my store credit on a Monday, reordered the shoes, and they magically appeared at my doorstep on Tuesday when I came home from my office for lunch. Gotta love Zappos.

Overall a nice comfortable shoe. I feel they can be dressed up or down. I wore them to a wedding with some nice Khakis and felt good.
