I have to say, after wearing these just a few minutes now, they seem to be a superior shoe to Patagonia's other moc's. Why, I don't know. Very high quality leather and high level of comfort...think they definitely have a winner here, in my humble view. They also seem to breath well, which is one of my biggest problems, ie, hot feet...and ironically some of the other Patagonia Maui moc's (same size 9.5.) fit small and have to return (although attractive)...and these same size 9.5. fit right on! Thanks Zappos for providing these awesome shoes among your selection options. Your service remains next to none!
I'd also recommend: El naturalistos, Clark's, Merrell's, Reefs, etc

This shoe is fantastic, as a slipper (with the fold-down heel) or just for kicking around it holds up well and is quite comfortable. For longer walks I would not recommend it, however, as it has little arch support and the tred isn't fantastic. If you want a quality slipper for parties, going out, or around the house it is perfect. I love this shoe!

These are nice casual shoes and feel almost like a sturdy pair of slippers. They are a bit on the loose side, I'm used to lace up shoes so that is a little bit of an adjustment.

I've been wearing Patagonia shoes for a long while. This model is the first clunker I've had. I found the shoe to be bigger than than my usual size and not nearly as comfortable as the Patagonias I've bought in the past.

I would say these are just average. I buy a lot of Patagonia shoes because I love them. Unfortunately the fit is a little loose and the style is too much like orthopedic shoes for seniors. They are easy to get on/off with the elastic back.
