Patagonia's values reflect those of a business that started as a band of climbers and surfers who wanted to stay out as long as they can, doing what they love, no matter the weather. Patagonia's design approach to every product, from technical shells for snow and ice, to moisture-wicking underclothes, to everyday clothes, demonstrates a functional bias toward simplicity and utility. Quality is impeccable, and the guarantee lifelong.
Patagonia's love of wild and beautiful places demands participation in the fight to save them and to help reverse the steep decline in the overall environmental health of the planet. They use organic cotton; most polyester is recycled. They give moral support - and 1% of sales, $25 million to date - to hundreds of grassroots environmental groups in the U.S., Europe and Japan.

I travel alot and am on the constant search for travel items that don't take up my precious luggage space. I'm so happy I stumbled on this product! Not only does it function as a handy sightseeing bag, but it's also aesthetically much more appealing then a fanny pack (no offense to fanny pack users). The cherry on top is that it folds into an even smaller bag so now I have extra luggage space for souvenirs. My only word of caution is that this bag is smaller than your average backpack. Other than that I highly recommend this bag.

I was waiting for the Kavu Rope Bag to come back into production but I needed a side sling fast. I thought I 'settled' for this bag. No longer do I feel this way. The delivery was super fast delivery and there is a warranty with the bag that allows me to exchange or get my money back if it gets a hole in it. It is made out of a special material that prevents tears or holes. I needed it for a light weight, easy to carry bag that would hold my bible (which is 6.70 x 9.50 x 1.10), wallet, journal, pencil bag, iPod, and headphones. This bag can hold all of this and still have space. Because of the way it is shaped and the placement of the zippers I can swing the bag to my front and easily take out anything. This feature is especially great for traveling in sketchy regions when you need to keep your belongings where you can see them. This bag is truly amazing, I would recommend it to anyone.

Smaller than I thought it would be. I was hoping it would hold my iPad, but it doesn't. So, too small for iPad, but the write size for phone, wallet, a few snacks and keys.

I bought this bag in black for my husband to use when we travel and he needs to put in umbrellas, some newly bought items, hat, glasses, etc. It is smaller than I thought, but lightweight and you can stuff in more than you think. In short, he was happy with it on our recent trip to Paris. It was quite expensive though for what it is.

I ordered this as a diaper bag for everyday outings. It is very compact but holds everything I need it to (diapers, wipes, snacks, wallet, first aid, phone.) It is comfortable to wear and very lightweight. The pocket on the strap is too small to fit anything, so it's kind of a waste, but no complaints other than that.
