Patagonia's values reflect those of a business that started as a band of climbers and surfers who wanted to stay out as long as they can, doing what they love, no matter the weather. Patagonia's design approach to every product, from technical shells for snow and ice, to moisture-wicking underclothes, to everyday clothes, demonstrates a functional bias toward simplicity and utility. Quality is impeccable, and the guarantee lifelong.
Patagonia's love of wild and beautiful places demands participation in the fight to save them and to help reverse the steep decline in the overall environmental health of the planet. They use organic cotton; most polyester is recycled. They give moral support - and 1% of sales, $25 million to date - to hundreds of grassroots environmental groups in the U.S., Europe and Japan.

This flannel will become your go-to. Perfect to thrown on for an evening walk or ride DT and comfortable to wear all day when the weather is colder. I live on the Central Coast of CA where the weather doesn't get too bad, but I may put my Patagonia Slingshot vest over this and it rules. I took it to Portland and it was great. Since this is Patagonia's relaxed fit, it can feel too roomy or boxy. I find it to feel heavy and weigh me down sometimes. The organic cotton is so soft and comfortable, but the collar on mine always gets messed up and won't stay. Maybe it's the detergent I use and because I hang dry all my garments, but it's something to keep in mind. Super well built, sturdy, cozy, and worth the price. Cheers.

Great color for fall. If you wear earth tones, blues, etc, this is a great print. I'm 6'2" and slim and I bought a Medium. It fits right on and I will soak it and avoid the dryer to ensure that the fit doesn't change. Great with a dark wash denim. The organic cotton is comfortable and not too heavy. Outdoor brands tend to run slightly large, especially if you're slim.
I'd also recommend: Levis, Brixton, Timberland

Great color for dark wash denim (brown shoes/boots, belt). The fit is very nice, not slim but not boxy. I'm 6'2" and between 176-183 (depending on the season), I went with a MEDIUM. Outdoor brands tend to run on the large side, especially if you're slim. The bottom of the shirt and sleeves hit right on for me. I would recommend soaking in cold w/a mild soap when caring. Avoid detergent and the dryer.
