Great coat. Beautiful stitching, great quality, lightweight, etc. The only problem? It runs a little narrow in the chest and waist area. Perhaps that's the way Patagonia jackets are? But I'm returning it, because it's too snug around my daughter's chest, and if I got one size bigger, everywhere else, especially the length, would be too big.

XL is roomy enough for a small adult (5'1", 115 lbs) with a fleece layered underneath. Doesn't look bulky. Good length for walking to work (mid-calf).

The size runs extremely small. I was very disappointed. It is just a plain coat. I think the coat is overpriced. I did like the elastic around the cuffs designed to be inside the coat sleeve about 3 inches. This will keep the snow from going up the child's arm.

My daughter, who is currently a size 8 (going into a size 9) adores this jacket. We ordered it in a size 10, and it fits her just fine. It should hopefully still fit her next year as well. We bought it really to keep her warm at our bus stop, which catches serious winds, and she says she has been quite warm.

Fantastic coat! I was afraid it would be too big for my smallish four year old, but it isn't. She does have to lift it up like a skirt to climb into the car, etc., but it keeps her cozy and warm, and it is adorable on her. I didn't mind the high price, as we'll save it for the four month old, who'll grow into it in a few years.

Amazing, fabulous, well worth the money. I bought a 3-4 for my 2.5 year old. It's big on her but we're thrilled we'll be able to use it next season for sure. Highly recommend.

This coat runs very small and slim. It is extremely lightweight and given the slim style, I couldn't fit a fleece under it for my 6 year old, which is the only way it would be warm enough, frankly, for our New England winters. I am disappointed in how lightweight and not very water resistant the fabric is. I kept it only because my daughter wears a jumper uniform to school and I wanted the longer length to keep her legs warm. The length is great; it is just a lightweight coat that really needs a fleece underneath to be truly warm. Disappointed. I will return to LL Bean for their quality, even thought they don't currently offer a longer-length coat to go over school uniforms.The color and style are perfect, the only princess pink I could find in a long coat and for that reason my daughter loved it.

This coat is amazing! I purchased this last winter for my then 8 year old daughter and it was comfy, warm and super durable! I love everything about it and would buy it in the next size too!
