Patagonia's values reflect those of a business that started as a band of climbers and surfers who wanted to stay out as long as they can, doing what they love, no matter the weather. Patagonia's design approach to every product, from technical shells for snow and ice, to moisture-wicking underclothes, to everyday clothes, demonstrates a functional bias toward simplicity and utility. Quality is impeccable, and the guarantee lifelong.
Patagonia's love of wild and beautiful places demands participation in the fight to save them and to help reverse the steep decline in the overall environmental health of the planet. These pants are amazing. Whisper light and comfortable. A little like linen, yet not as wrinkly. The organic cotton is soft and has held up in the wash. I found them a little long and tried to shrink them in the dryer, and now I hang to dry so they won't get pilly (as some natural fabrics do). The style is great--the pockets are nice and deep in front, and flattering for the tush in the back. I only wish I had ordered them in one size smaller to accommodate for the slight stretching that happens. I have them in the green/olive, and will definitely get them in the blue/black. Also tried on the shorts in a local store; also the same fit and style, but I didn't like the cuffs. You will not be disappointed if you are going for comfort, style, flattering fit, and sustainability. Patagonia got this one right!

Like these pants. They are really not so wrinkly, as linen pants can be, and are true to size. I chose them because in practice the hemp fabric turned to be more durable than the linen. Hope the same would be with these pants. I wish they were in more colors (navy, for example).

I love this pants! They are comfortable, stylish and soft. I have them in navy blue and recently purchased the olive. As for the fit: I ordered size 2, 31" inseam - I am 5'3", 120 pounds; and they fit me perfectly. They fall right below my bellybutton, the length is perfect too, cover my ankles without dragging on the floor. As for the material, linen can be a little scratchy sometimes, but not this pants, they are soft and stretchy. I bought the navy blue last year, and after several washings in the washer's regular cycle (and air drying them, because linen can shrink!) they still look brand new. They iron easy too, don't need to fight with the material or use starch. Overall, perfect pants for the summer and super comfortable for travelling.

Pants are cute, maybe a little thin, but they are not for tall people. The 31" inseam must be a short 31" inseam because these hit me above the ankle (I'm 5'10+).
