You would never guess that a vest this cute and lightweight could be as warm as it is. The truly amazing part is that, while it's toasty, it's never too hot. I can wear it around the house, in the car, & running errands and forget I have it on. I have this item in a medium, and can easily fit a thin fleece underneath, & it still fits nicely under a shell without being too bulky. (I'm 5'4", 145 lbs.) The absolute best piece of down clothing I've ever owned. Pricey, but definitely worth every penny.

Had to return it-- poor quality feathers everywhere. Expected more from Patagonia and for the money.

You would never guess that a vest this cute and lightweight could be as warm as it is. The truly amazing part is that, while it's toasty, it's never too hot. I can wear it around the house, in the car, & running errands and forget I have it on. I have this item in a medium, and can easily fit a thin fleece underneath, & it still fits nicely under a shell without being too bulky. (I'm 5'4", 145 lbs.) I absolutely love this. I was not sure about a vest, I was not sure that it would keep me warm enough not having anything on my arms, but this is perfect. It keeps me warm and toasty yet it is not bulky. It is light as a feather, too! I also have the Retro X jacket, which is good when it is colder and windy, but this vest is a little more versatile. I highly recommend this vest, and the black is perfect as it goes with everything.

My wife is a North Face fan, and this was her firt Patagonia item. She absolutely loves it. Fit is true to size, and she can wear many different color shirts underneath her vest. It is warm enough for quick errands or walks with the baby. Highly recommended

I bought this vest for my mom and she loves it! Fits true to size (it's supposed to be a little fitted) and is very light weight and warm.
