I was very impressed with Zappos. They had a great selection of Patagonia shirts at a good price. They delivered the item extremely quickly, and my son-in-law, who was celebrating his birthday, loved his new shirt.

Great dark blue, an excellent base layer. It's long enough to tuck into your pants and not come untucked when you bend over to strap on your board or lock down your boots. Medium wears true to form.
Brands I'd also recommend: smart wool, moutain hardware

I bought this for my husband who has the same shirt in navy that I bought him a year ago. He loves this shirt for exercising; it wicks well and keeps him from overheating. Overall, a really solid athletic/casual/comfy shirt.
Brands I'd also recommend: North Face

I'm 6', 160 pounds. The large is a pretty good fitted fit. Not a skin tight snug fit anywhere but close fitting. The sleeves a tad long for everyday wear but the perfect length for any activity or sport that involves reaching. However, I am sending it back. Powerdry is often itchy to me, especially at the seams. And there is my main complaint. The seams on the arms of this shirt drive me bonkers - and they hit right on several major muscle groups. The old capilene 3 with set-in shoulders was much more comfortable than this model. I vote for Patagonia keeping this fit but going back to the set-in sleeve style.

About Patagonia
Patagonia's values reflect those of a business that started as a band of climbers and surfers who wanted to stay out as long as they can, doing what they love, no matter the weather. Patagonia's design approach to every product, from technical shells for snow and ice, to moisture-wicking underclothes, to everyday clothes, demonstrates a functional bias toward simplicity and utility. Quality is impeccable, and the guarantee lifelong.
Patagonia's love of wild and beautiful places demands participation in the fight to save them and to help reverse the steep decline in the overall environmental health of the planet. They use organic cotton; most polyester is recycled. They give moral support - and 1% of sales, $25 million to date - to hundreds of grassroots environmental groups in the U.S., Europe and Japan.
