Patagonia's values reflect those of a business that started as a band of climbers and surfers who wanted to stay out as long as they can, doing what they love, no matter the weather. Patagonia's design approach to every product, from technical shells for snow and ice, to moisture-wicking underclothes, to everyday clothes, demonstrates a functional bias toward simplicity and utility. Quality is impeccable, and the guarantee lifelong.
Patagonia's love of wild and beautiful places demands participation in the fight to save them and to help reverse the steep decline in the overall environmental health of the planet. They use organic cotton; most polyester is recycled. They give moral support - and 1% of sales, $25 million to date - to hundreds of grassroots environmental groups in the U.S., Europe and Japan.

They are great for just slipping on and taking off, but they do not have a lot of padding so don't plan to take hikes in them unless you like the barefoot feel. The other problem is they start to smell after wearing them for only a little bit, but that seems to be common with most sock-less slip ons. I am a fan of the environment friendly packaging and construction.

The shoe looks great, and felt it would be great paired with jeans for those lazy days at the coffee shop, or backyard. But, the true problem is with the construction. The insole, though I'm sure made to be removed, would push out the back of the shoe within several steps. This was super uncomfortable. Love the company Patagonia, but they failed big time on this shoe...surely its just a fluke. Keep up the good work Zappos.com!

These shoes are great for a lazy day! I've hiked in them and worn them during various other activities and they did fine but there isn't any support, they fit a bit loose and they aren't weather resistant at all. That being said, I still wear them daily and enjoy them very much. After hiking in the snow with them they did smell pretty bad the next day. I washed them in the sink and hang dried them. Now they're back to normal. Awesome shoes!

I ordered a size 10 in black. It fits really well, and I like the design of the shoe. However, after a few days of walking on them the sole starts to slip out from the toe side and up the heel end. After walking around campus it becomes rather irritating, and I'm constantly trying to push the heel back in.
