Parker began in 2008, by New York City designers Laurieanne Gilner and Derek Farrar. They wanted to fill a void in the marketplace for "great tops." Laurieanne travels the globe seeking out vintage prints from the 1920's and 1950's. She re-interprets them with an eclectic, Paris-meets-Brooklyn sensibility.
