- A less aggressive inner and outer longitudinal arch-supports distribute body weight evenly when walking.

This thong style is long overdue! I love that the upper is leather instead of Birko, it provides flexibility. Break in time was about a day, love the green color. There is also a bronze leather made by Birkenstock, wish Zappos could make it available. Excellent delivery by Zappos as usual! Thank you!

These are great! I've been so hesitant to go the birkenstock route (hippy parents)but having had recent heel pain, I gave in! I'm so glad I did! I bought the white Cortina Gizehs and these Papillio Turins in a fantastic metallic green. The 38's I bought were way too big, which is weird since I'm usually a small 8 but generally go with a 38 in other shoes. Now that I have the 37's I'm very happy with the fit and the fact that the Papillios are real leather not the Birko flor synthetic. I think they'll wear in very nicely. And the exchanged shoes came in less than 24 hours! Zappos really does rock!

These are great! I add my agreement to the reviewer who said it was about time Birkenstock (Papillio) came out with a great flip-flop. If you want one to go to the pool in and get wet all the time I suggest you get a different shoe. These are great with shorts, jeans or skirts. The between the toe thingie hurt for the first day, but I wore them for two days straight and the second day they stopped hurting. Just had to get used to them a bit. I love them.
Brands I'd also recommend: Ecco, Mephisto

Very cute and comfortable. The metallic is beautiful and subtle. It goes with everything. I will be in it all summer. I usually wear a size 36 in European sizes. That is what I ordered and it fits perfect.
