This bag works well for camera & video equipment as well as for day bag use when traveling. It is spacious, has lots of compartments, and the security features are invaluable for protecting your equipment. I would like the water bottle holders to be a tad larger, and access to the main compartment is a bit awkward depending on how you carry the bag. Still, a great combination day bag/camera bag.

As with all PacSafe products this is a well made product. I was hoping that the 200 would be substantially larger than the 100 model and could accomodate my DSLR and lens. The width and height are great. I can place a long lens horizontally and then stack another lens on top. The downfall is the depth. Inside is just about 4 inches across which will accomodate a DSLR body but just barely and on in one position and if you have a grip, forget it. I could wedge it in there but that certainly would not make for easy access and if I placed anything in the other pockets it would pretty much make it impossible to get the camera back out of the bag quickly. I will hold out for the new and improved 300 if it ever hits the shelves. Until then I will continue to use my modified PacSafe backpack to tote my photo gear.

I got this bag for a trip to Italy, and though I haven't gone yet, I can see how this will help greatly. If anything, it will give me some peace of mind. It seems pretty sturdy. I like that you can lock the main compartment. It is big enough for me to carry a camera body with a lens on it, a small camcorder, a full sized flash and an extra lens, with more room to spare. I think I'll leave the camcorder at home, though as the bag is starting to get a little heavy (I've been carrying it around to get used to it and "break it in"). With the camcorder out I think I'll have enough room in the main compartment to carry the travel guide I'll be bringing (which is bulky itself). I was carrying it around town and it did start to get a little uncomfortable, but not because of the bag, probably because of the weight. The padded shoulder harness helped relieve some of the pressure, but I think it would make sense to have a second strap for the other shoulder. It is a decent size, though, so if you don't want something quite so big, go for the 100. I REALLY like that the main compartment opens from the back, so that I can easily access the contents while I'm wearing it. I'm very happy with it, so far.
