Pacsafe Reviews
For years, I was hesitant about buying a Pacsafe bag, because I was not sure if the protection was sufficient and worth the extra weight. Reviews of prior generations of Pacsafe bags disclosed lots of quality control issues, such as cheap zippers and thin fabric. For the 250 GII, I discovered that the metal mesh does not cover the entire bag -- I called Pacsafe to confirm this. The rep told me that only the front and the bottom are covered. So, a professional pickpocket (most of these folks are extremely smart and dexterous) can simply cut from the top or the back side of this bag. This bag does not hold a 13-inch Macbook Air or Macbook Pro, both of which I own. The laptop sleeve doesn't have a velcro tab on top to prevent the laptop from sliding out (when the bag is placed horizontally). In addition, this bag doesn't have much depth -- you can't put much else in it. The major positive thing about the 250 GII is that the look of this bag is much better than the previous version's.

Enjoy the safety for credit cards and quality of construction for the price. Slightly narrow at top and somewhat difficult to ease into bag. Coulbe be a bit wider.

Pretty nifty bi-fold. I like the convenience of a smaller wallet and this one surprisingly has a ton of room! I think I have stuffed in about ten cards, a whole handful of change in the back zip pocket, couple bills in the bill slot and it still has room to spare. But remember people its a bi-fold, only the necessities in this baby! I love the bright orange interior and that I can wipe it down with a disinfectant wipe without worrying about ruining the material. Bottom line: pretty sweet.
This is cute but much smaller than I expected. It's really more of an oversized wallet than a purse. I do like all the features though, especially the detachable strap that you can hook to tables or chairs. I'm keeping it and taking it to Rome but I wish it was a little bit bigger!

This is the 4th PacSafe bag I have purchased. Pacsafe items seem pricey, but this little bag was a winner for me! If you are used to carrying a large bag this bag may not be for you, but it held all the essentials for me. We just returned from a cruise and I used this bag every day. It was large enough to hold our passports within the RIFD pocket, as well as credit cards, cash, a comb, lipstick, tissues, my inhaler and a small medicine container. I used it on board the ship as well as in the Ports of Call without feeling like I was dragging the house with me. The safety features are great as in other PacSafe bags I own, without screaming "Tourist". If you are looking for a small, easy to carry, lightweight bag with great security features, give this bag a try!

I am a sound man who does field location audio recording for film, commercial and documentaries. For years I've driven my gear out of state but finally was required to fly with a crew to a recent project. I purchased two of the ProSafe 750 TSA Key-Card locks for my checked audio recording gear in a Pelican 1614 case and a lockable BoomTube for my boom pole to keep honest people honest. They worked great. Hands down the best feature of this lock is the key-card: no combination to remember and no small traditional key with a likelihood of getting lost. I liked them so much that I'm purchasing more of this same model for my family when they fly. Great product. Wish I had bought these years ago.

This bag does what I needed it to do. I love all the pockets. The bag is rather plain. I wish the logo were the same as on the City bag. Centering it would have made the bag more visually appealing. The stitching on the handle is a bit rough and rubs against my shoulder. It tends to snag knit tops.

This is a great wallet! It does not take up much room but holds a lot. Perfect for travel or shopping around town. It fits in a very small purse.

The quality of this waist wallet is very nice; love the little tab that holds the zipper pull in place so it doesn't flop around. The strap is also substantial enough that it doesn't fold over. That being said, I am not sure whether this item will suit my purposes. I have been using another kind of waist wallet for a number of years that allows me to put the bills in so they lie flat against my body. You can't even see I am wearing it when I have it on. This wallet is much smaller and I am a little worried that I will have to fold the bills in order to get them to fit and that it will look much bulkier under my clothes. The jury is still out on this item, until I put it to some practical use.

Best purse ever for travel. I bought this for my trip to the Dominican Republic and Panama and it was so useful. I felt comfortable walking through the crowds at carnival and didn't have to worry about the security of my things. Plus, it lies flat against your body which is really comfortable. I could fit my Kindle in its case, a thin notebook, keys, phone, wallet, passports, etc and still have room for a water bottle if needed. Good size great buy. If you're a traveler looking for a lightweight and comfortable daybag, this is the way to go. Highly recommend. I travel a lot and this by far the best bag I've used.
This is a great purse. the taupe color is versatile. The shoulder strap is comfortable unlike some straps I have had that cut into your neck. The only thing is that the bottom width is not quite wide enough. That is my fault for not thinking that over better. I really like the security latch on the front flap.
Compact, durable, simple and easy to stash. Fits all my cards (more than 10) and a nice fold of cash along with coins. The chain is thin but the perfect length (durable) and not cumbersome like the old school biker chain wallets. The gun metal finish keeps it low key in terms of flash. A nice touch. I have to mention that everything is safe and secure within the zippered compartments. 4 stars for style because it's mostly about functionality.

I really like it so far. I use it primarily for travel and my 13" Macbook Pro fits just fine in the padded area. I can comfortably move/run through the airport with it and then it serves well once I arrive at my destination as my "brief case/purse." I do wish there was an easy access pocket on the front for those of us who still end up with paper boarding passes sometimes. More convenient to get in and out of while walking than a backpack. Great security features too. I want more Pacsafe products now!

I liked the concept as I knew I would be in some uncertain places on my trip. It is designed for efficiency. I think I like the strap. It seemed heavy to me at first, but when I used it, I didn't really notice. However, one side tended to curl back into my eye and had to be physically removed sometimes to take pictures. Guess it didn't bother me too much as I used it for a two-week trip and never took the time to fiddle with it to see what was wrong.

I love my Pacsafe I purchased a few years back. Every time I wash it in the washer, it turns out to look like new. One serious problem, safewise is that the hook on the handle gets unhooked from the purse body just as I have it on my shoulder. I have a feeling it is a manufacturer's problem. I don't think it is very safe when you walk in a country where there are a lot of attacks, especially when they are very poor...the rest of the safeguards on this purse are great. Hope something is done for me. I think I should get a replacement.
I love this wallet! I love all the compartments. It's not too bulky but provides plenty of space for credit cards and other stuff. Your cash stays straight (you don't have to fold it) and it's a great wallet to keep cash and receipts separated. I know this is a travel wallet, but I got it to use every day and I'm completely happy.
This is exactly what is described. It's perfect for day trips, holding all the necessities, except a bottle of water. I'm going to test the security features in Italy next month. Thanks to Zappos for the fantastic service, as usual.

Just like a previous reviewer, I purchased this bag to toss into my larger Pacsafe Tote. I can pop it out when I am in an area where I just need to carry my essentials. It is the perfect size to accommodate my wallet, passports, and a small digital camera. I often find that when touring I might get to a museum or other site where large bags are not allowed in and I must check my larger tote. No matter the security I hesitate to leave behind my wallet and i.d. With this little bag I can carry those small items with me securely while I leave the larger tote checked. Pacsafe products are pricey but I have used them for several years and have found them to be secure and they hold up well.

I ordered this bag on Wednesday and received it on Thursday. I love Zappos. A genius designed this bag. I needed something small and secure for an upcoming trip. I wanted small so I could toss it in a larger tote and secure so I did not have to worry about anything being stolen, including my identity. This bag measures small but it is large enough to carry anything I need -- small camera, phone, wallet, sun glasses and cosmetics with room to spare. The RFID blocking pocket inside the main compartment is large enough to hold two passports and our credit cards. It might seem pricey, but this is a very well-made bag as well as very secure. Between the fabric and lining is metal mesh so that if the fabric is slashed, your items do not fall out. The bag is soft and flexible, so you do not know the mesh is there. The strap contains stainless steel cable so it cannot be easily slashed. Again, it is flexible and you would not know that the cable is there. I am 5'7" and the strap is long enough to wear the bag cross body. The lining is a different color than the bag so you can easily find things. The zipper and strap have locks to prevent theft. So , the bag is a great deal when you look at the security of it. It looks like an elegant travel bag and not like a safe, which it pretty much is. It does not scream "travel bag" and I would be comfortable carrying it into a nice restaurant.

This is the bag I have been waiting for Pacsafe to design! I have several of their products but have found that previous totes and handbags are not wide enough to accommodate my gear when used as a day bag. This is a large bag which can be worn as a shoulder bag or cross body bag. I like that while it has internal pockets it is not filled with lots of little slots which usually prove to never fit what I have. This bag will easily hold everything I need as a day bag including my large camera and extra lens. It could be a good carry-on or it will compress to easily pack in my duffel. The walnut is a bit darker than pictured but still a great color for travel. Looking forward to trying out this bag on an upcoming trip.
Excellent personal safe. I use it at home for when I need to lock up a few things. Figuring out the locking mechanism is challenging at first.

One of the most exciting things about traveling is the sense of freedom, in search of adventure. Nobody wants to be worrying and weighed down by whether or not their gear is safe and secure. That´s where Pacsafe steps in. Pacsafe
