Pacsafe

I love this purse. I bought it in black last year for my trip to Spain and it was perfect - plenty of room for everything and the safety features cannot be beat. So, this year I bought one in tan for another European trip this year. Again, I love this purse. Cannot say enough great things about it!

Just like a previous reviewer, I purchased this bag to toss into my larger Pacsafe Tote. I can pop it out when I am in an area where I just need to carry my essentials. It is the perfect size to accommodate my wallet, passports, and a small digital camera. I often find that when touring I might get to a museum or other site where large bags are not allowed in and I must check my larger tote. No matter the security I hesitate to leave behind my wallet and i.d. With this little bag I can carry those small items with me securely while I leave the larger tote checked. Pacsafe products are pricey but I have used them for several years and have found them to be secure and they hold up well.

I have spent hours on the internet trying to find the perfect crossbody bag/purse that would be big enough to hold an iPad, camera and water bottle yet deter those pesky pickpocket types for an upcoming trip to Italy. I even ordered similar Magellan and Travelon bags to compare. Pacsafe won because the clasps securing their zippers were so much easier to open and close. Who wants to be fumbling with clasps every time the purse is opened? The Metrosafe 200 Shoulder Bag was small enough to look like a purse unlike the 250 which looked like a small bag. While I would have liked the RFIDsafe feature of the Metrosafe 200GII Shoulder Bag, I ended up choosing the Metrosafe 200 because it has the easy access slot under the flap to stow maps and small guidebooks (stuff pickpockets won't bother). Zappos multiple views and video of each bag helped me to distinguish between so many different bags. In the end, I still needed to see the final three and try them to make a decision. The free and easy return policy is why I am a happy, satisfied customer! I purchased the perfect bag I was looking for and easily returned the other two.

I ordered this bag on Wednesday and received it on Thursday. I love Zappos. A genius designed this bag. I needed something small and secure for an upcoming trip. I wanted small so I could toss it in a larger tote and secure so I did not have to worry about anything being stolen, including my identity. This bag measures small but it is large enough to carry anything I need -- small camera, phone, wallet, sun glasses and cosmetics with room to spare. The RFID blocking pocket inside the main compartment is large enough to hold two passports and our credit cards. It might seem pricey, but this is a very well-made bag as well as very secure. Between the fabric and lining is metal mesh so that if the fabric is slashed, your items do not fall out. The bag is soft and flexible, so you do not know the mesh is there. The strap contains stainless steel cable so it cannot be easily slashed. Again, it is flexible and you would not know that the cable is there. I am 5'7" and the strap is long enough to wear the bag cross body. The lining is a different color than the bag so you can easily find things. The zipper and strap have locks to prevent theft. So , the bag is a great deal when you look at the security of it. It looks like an elegant travel bag and not like a safe, which it pretty much is. It does not scream "travel bag" and I would be comfortable carrying it into a nice restaurant.

I tend to go back and forth between wanting to make sure I am prepared for everything and having the smallest purse possible with just the essentials. This purse is a good balance between the two. It has a slim profile and is compact but has plenty of pockets and space to carry everything I need (wallet, checkbook, glasses, cell phone, keys, make-up, a small water bottle and there's still a little room). Being a frequent traveler it definitely adds to your peace of mind knowing that your bag is secure, nothing else on the market comes close to all the security features you find with Pacsafe. Overall, this a great quality bag, at a reasonable price.

I haven't ever written a review, but have been compelled to do so by how much I absolutely adore this bag. I have been searching for my definitive laptop bag for quite some time and finally found it!While it is a little bit pricey, you absolutely get what you pay for, and I know that the rare occasions that will ultimately arise when I'll need to lock it up do occur, I'll have been willing to have paid double for the ability to do so. This is my new goto brand.

What a great purse! It is light and easy to carry all the necessary items. The inside pockets keep passports out of sight. It is easy to be discreet when shopping. The only complaint is that the slot for the water bottle is too snug. After my trip, I continue to use this purse.

This is the bag I have been waiting for Pacsafe to design! I have several of their products but have found that previous totes and handbags are not wide enough to accommodate my gear when used as a day bag. This is a large bag which can be worn as a shoulder bag or cross body bag. I like that while it has internal pockets it is not filled with lots of little slots which usually prove to never fit what I have. This bag will easily hold everything I need as a day bag including my large camera and extra lens. It could be a good carry-on or it will compress to easily pack in my duffel. The walnut is a bit darker than pictured but still a great color for travel. Looking forward to trying out this bag on an upcoming trip.

I have used my bag for several weeks now, and it does just about everything I want it to. However, I would have liked to have a fully detachable shoulder strap. To me it is very convenient to just use the handle. The strap takes up quite a bit of room when I roll it up and put it inside.

Pacsafe is a very good brand; over the years I have purchased several items from their line and I am generally pleased. However, although this particular handbag is a good bag, it is not completely perfect for my individual travel needs. I sometimes use this as a handbag, but mostly I use this as a camera bag. I carry my SLR camera, flash, and telephoto lens in this bag, where they are safer and closer to me,and more convenient to access than in a regular camera bag. On my most recent trip abroad, the clasp to hold the zipper secure, broke. This is not a major problem, but it does compromise my bag. In addition to a tougher clasp, to make this bag perfect I would also prefer it to be slightly deeper -- about an inch or so. With all my camera equipment, I need just a little more space for the other stuff I carry as well, such as kleenex, sunglasses, etc.

I really like this bag especially for the security it has. I've been using a 3 zipper bag about this size, but this one has a lot more room and is very secure. You don't have to travel to use it, there are pick pockets all over the place. Love Zappos and there great service.

Love this bag! Great pockets inside and out and the extra long strap is wonderful and super simple to adjust. Roomy on the inside, with zipper pockets to keep my valuables safe. This bag will go on every trip I take!

Excellent personal safe. I use it at home for when I need to lock up a few things. Figuring out the locking mechanism is challenging at first.

This is the perfect cross body travel bag. I will be going to Italy and Greece this year and it will keep my items safe and secure. Perfect size to fit camera, water bottle, light sweater, cash, credit cards, and small items you may purchase. It is way better than carrying a day pack that you have to take on and off. Everything is at your fingertips. I purchased the black. Very stylish and will recommend it to anyone.

Got this for my daughter who was traveling in Europe. She loved it. Lots of pockets and storage for your items. She is an organizer and this was the bag for her!

It would be very difficult to get and replace credit cards, glasses, passport, etc. when traveling. It would make a person very vulnerable to losing an item or having someone take something from you while trying to either get into the bag or put items away. The velcro straps to the credit card area are hard to pull out making it difficult to get to your card. I travel a lot and I know this bag wouldn't work.

This bag exceeded my expectations. It is very well made and does exactly what I was hoping for; namely, providing enough room for daily essentials going back and forth to work, including room for a letter-sized document holder in the back wall, a cosmetic bag, my Kindle, plus space for other items that I need to add occasionally. I was surprised to find a small sectioned clutch chained inside with a pocket for a passport, a zippered section for change, space for paper currency and a small checkbook, plus organizing slots for credit cards. When I just need my checkbook, I can leave the pack in the file drawer at my desk and go run errands with just the clutch - its leash becomes a handle or can be tucked in an outside pocket.

Purse is lightweight and attractive. But I must agree with other reviews in that the compartments are not sized correctly. I found myself needing to fold important papers to fit into compartments which made them hard to access or identify quickly. All in all, I would still recommend this purse as a great travel item.

Awesome safe purse that is truly cross body for all body types. Nice look to it! I really like all Pacsafe products but this one is my favorite!

I thought the straps would be a hassle, but it's actually easy to work with. I wish there were other colors like gray or fatigue. The many pockets and key loops are really important to me, and this is why I love Pacsafe. However, I wish the top zipper was "hidden" in the back... this feature in almost all backpacks makes the bag less secure, because when you forget to zip up, there goes the "theft-proof" feature of even the most secure bag. I look forward to a redesign of this bag.
