This kettle is superb...lightweight, quality construction, handsome looks, as well as the usual OXO cleverness. This was the second one I've purchased - first was for me, second for my mother who is very pleased with it. I also want to mention how great Zappos service and pricing are!

I have owned a series of OXO pick me up tea kettles and love the design. This is the first one I have had in stainless steel and it is not as heavy as the enamel kettles that come in bright colors, but it performs just fine. I only replaced them because we have such hard water and after a few years the inside of the kettle becomes corroded.

I have my second oxo Pick Me Up Tea Kettle and loved my first one and though not as happy with the second one. I have a problem with the lid not fitting properly. I do love the convenience of the spout opening with the handle. I would purchase another of these tea kettles in the future.

Yes, this is a great tea kettle; however, make sure you wear an oven hand mitt (so it covers your entire hand) when pouring. I was severely scalded by the steam that came out as I was pouring into my cup.

I checked out several tea kettles online before settling on this one. My criteria included the color, style, a handle that didn't require an oven mitt to comfortably grasp, ease of cleaning and an easily open spout. This model looked like the best fit online and I've been completely satisfied with the actual kettle.
