This bag is perfect for travel. It is not too big, but holds my phone, travel papers, kindle, and other small items. It fits comfortably across the shoulder. It looks good, too. I love it!

Great bag. I also ordered 3 others: the Keen Montclair Mini was too small. The Timbuk2 Harriet was cute but too many compartments that were hard to get at, and I didn't like the super-loud velcro front-flap. The Sherpani Milli Small was difficult to open and close the zippers, and I just liked this Overland bag best. It lays nice and flat when empty. The front compartments are easy to access and secure with quiet magnets and a double-flap, and the large inside compartment is simple, with one zip pocket. Then the back has a simple pocket for slipping in documents or papers for quick access (airplane tickets, maps, etc). I love this bag. The strap is comfortable and has good adjustability (from really nice and long to over-one-shoulder short).

This is probably my favorite purse ever! It's not too big and not too small. I can put a paperback book in it if I want, but it's not too bulky if I don't have much in it. The strap is adjustable so I can make it shorter or longer depending on the day. It's very comfortable worn across the body. There is just the right amount of organization in the front. There is room for phone, gum, chapstick, and keys and other small items, but it's not trying to replace my wallet and have a bunch of card slots. Everything is easy access, but still secure. I love the magnets that hold the front flap down. The things I'd improve are: the strap tends to slide off my shoulder, the purse doesn't stand up on its own and I'd add a zipper to the main compartment for added security since that's where my wallet goes. (It just had a snap right now). Overall, this is still my favorite purse so my complaints are negligible for me.

Best purse ever! Love all the pockets, and I love the felt lined pocket for your phone (well my phone, you could put your glasses or sunglasses there. This purse met all my requirements, crossbody, lots of pockets for organization, not too big, and room for a book or my kindle (that was the biggest requirement), oh and it's black. This is not a "pretty" purse, this is a functional purse. If you are looking for a purse to match your outfit, this is probably not the purse for you, but if you, like me, are only looking for a functional purse for everyday use, that will last you for years and years, and you'll never have to switch purses because black goes with everything, then this is the purse for you! Enjoy it, it's pretty fabulous. Oh and they sell them at REI, if you want to feel the purse or see it in person, go check them out, but buy it at Zappos, it's less expensive!

I really liked the style of this purse. It looks sleek. I prefer the magnetic close on this purse over the velcro. All it is missing are outside pockets for glasses. That's the only reason I'm sending it back. It's awfully hard to do. Boo hoo.
