Great bag! Three weeks in China can't be wrong! I was able to carry 2 water bottles with me at all times in the side pockets, as well as a soft-sided journal, pens, pencils and a glue stick in the main and smaller compartments! When you have the strap around your neck you can tilt the bag so it becomes a very small portable writing surface. I believe at one point I even folded up my rain jacket so small that it fit in the main compartment. The camera fit also, as well as additional film. Since returning from China, I use it as a saddle bag to go riding. I pack my snacks as well as water bottles with me. One of my China travel buddies uses hers as a diaper bag! Go Overland.

Great and versatile bag. Especially love the side pockets where I could put a water bottle. Main pocket area is quite big, so sometimes you have to really dig around for your things, but overall the bag is comfortable. I took it to travel through China and now use if full time at home.

Still getting used to the strap, but finding it very comfortable. The arrangement of pockets is working very well; I travel pretty light. All in all, I'm pleased. And as usual, the shopping experience was great: I ordered a bunch of different bags and then invited a couple of friends over to give them all a look; so much more fun than going from store to store!

I love this bag. Originally, I had ordered the smaller "Donner". This 09 bag is much larger and perfect for travel or running everyday errands.

I was disappointed in this purse. I was expecting more pockets as some reviews said. I was planning to use it on our cruise to Mexico and am considering a different purchase. I didn't return it because I had thrown the receipt away. I'm sorry I did. Durability is good. I've been using it for everyday use. The front pockets aren't large enough for too many items; the front flaps down.

I love this bag! It is the new and improved version of the original Donner (which I also own). I like that the bag is just a bit bigger, but has all the same great features.

I am very happy with the service and the bag. I was hoping to receive my bag before I was to leave on a cruise and it even came 2 days before. The bag is just the right size and has a compartment for everything I needed (cell phone, glasses, etc.). Lightweight and small enough so as not to hurt my shoulder when walking a long distance. I will probably order another in the future (just for a color variety). Thanks.

Convenience galore! As with some other reviewers, I absolutely loved my old Donner bag which was made with different materials. I had one in a fuchsia color and wanted one in black. Even though I don't like the materials they use in the newer Donner bags as well, I love the design of this bag. I love that it has pockets on either side that you can use for water bottles. When I'm not using them for water bottles, I put my re-usable Chico grocery (stuff sack) bags in one side and my sun-glasses on the other side. My cell phone goes in one of the compartments under the front flap so it's always convenient to find. I also love the key fob; it makes it so much easier to find my keys. My purse rarely gets dirty at all, but when it gets dusty I can brush it right off. I also really like the size of the purse and I like having the strap cross over my body for extra security.

I love this little bag. It is roomier than it appears to be. I only wanted something small and lightweight to travel. Dragging along carry-on luggage now is a pain so I need my purse to be small. It held all my essentials: Ipod, phone, headphones, money, ids, lipstick, and so on...I plan to use it for anywhere that I'll be walking/site seeing. It has a lot of adjustment room so that it can fall at your hip just as it shows on the picture.

Perfect work/school bag - First, I have to mention that I received this bag less than 24 hours after I ordered it, and with free shipping to boot. Amazing! The bag is just what I was looking for, too. My laptop (Dell Latitude 6400) fits in the neoprene sleeve perfectly, with plenty of room left over for law school textbooks (but without looking bulky when empty, either). Very rugged material. Will fit legal files. I know I'll be using this for a long, long time.

I love the Bayliss - used to wear a "fanny-pack", but I appreciate not having to carry a wallet in it [all the advantages of the wallet are built in]. Most importantly I'm in favor of the magnetic flap on the front and not having to deal with zippers to get out my keys, etc. I'm a retiree, musician, very busy and also like the fact that the bag is lightweight. Now why, would Overland Equipment decide to change the design and put velcro on it? I'll never buy that version and am disappointed that I see the traditional Bayliss being phased out.

This is a great purse! I used it for 8 days on a trip to DC, carrying a camera, guidebook, maps, sunglasses and all the brochures you pick up at the museums. The shoulder strap is extremely comfortable and never cuts into your shoulder. It holds so much and the side flap that carries credit cards, Metro passes, money, your room key card, etc., is an excellent way to cut down on extra items in your purse. This is a fabulous purse for a trip!!

I love this bag. I was looking for something to throw all my daughter's stuff in for the day and have it be an over the shoulder bag, and this was perfect. I can fit 4 or 5 diapers, small pack of wipes, sippy cup and my wallet in the main compartment. The front flap for the keys and phone is great. It lets them be very accessible while having your hands full, you're not trying to dig to the bottom of a diaper bag to find them. I don't have to worry about the bag getting dirty or stained either because you can just take a wipe to the fabric. I would buy this bag again in a heart beat.

Love this bag! Exactly what I wanted. I love that I can access my cell phone and sunglasses without unzipping the main compartment; it's a great soil resistant fabric. I'm a landscaper and I'm flinging it here and there in the dirt and it still looks clean. Nice inside fabric detail. Shoulder strap is wide and comfortable. Good sized main compartment- the fact that it holds 2 water bottles is over the top.

I love Overland Equipment Donner~ I bought it for vacation and I could carry everything with me and still be comfortable and have my hands free. It would be nice to have a few extra small pockets in the main section to hold little things that get lost in the bottom.

Love this bag. I use it as a cross body style for all of my outings with my kids. The bag is very lightweight and can hold all the necessities that are needed when out with my kids (sunscreen, bottled water, tickets, cell phone, etc.).

This bag is perfect for travel! No need for a wallet because of all the slots and pockets. It's the perfect depth for a glasses case. The strap is strong but has a soft feel. It's lightweight but very sturdy material. Lays against your body enough to feel secure when you're out and about. Perfect size for all my essentials, organized for very easy access to everything.

Good looking bag! I get lots of compliments on it, especially the guitar strap. It's well made, tough fabric, and roomy. Had to add an external case for my phone though (don't want to dig for it), but otherwise it's quite functional.

I can't say enough good things about this bag. It's always a gamble to order something sight unseen, but this gamble definitely paid off. I wanted a bag that would fit across my body that was smallish, and would hold a ton of stuff without looking bulky when loaded. This completely fit all my requirements. I used this for a week long trip to the Washington Peninsula, Canada, and Seattle. It held maps, 4 passports, lip glosses, a pen, feminine products, my cash, and credit cards with ease. My 11 yo loved mine so much that she talked me into ordering the eggplant colored one for her. It's not bulky or too large for her frame either.Definitely recommend this bag. It should serve me well for many years.

This little bag is exactly what I've been looking for for months. It is just the right size for the necessities and the pockets and compartments keep everything organized and easy to find. It is lightweight and I love the sturdy, adjustable strap. I am rather well-endowed and I use this as a shoulder purse (I never wear anything strapped across my front). I wanted something small and casual for the days when I am running errands and don't want to lug a book and/or heavy purse. This is perfect and I love it!

Not quite right - I will just say for the record that I LOVE Zappos! I ordered this bag for an upcoming trip to France, as an alternative to carrying a backpack. I was really looking for a smallish messenger bag, not a purse. But when it got here, it was just a little too much like a purse, and not enough like a messenger bag. So while I loved the color and features it was just a little smaller than I wanted. But if you're looking for a roomy purse: this is the one for you! The next size up in the brand was just too big. I called Zappos and did a quick exchange for the North Fact Calyx Se which is a little bigger. They expedited everything so I can get the other bag in time for my trip. Again, LOVE Zappos!!

I purchased this bag because I wanted a purse that I could take on vacation that would hold my digital camera and mini camcorder without being big and bulky. This bag has worked out perfectly. It even has lined pockets to protect your camera from scratches. It has plenty of room for both cameras and basic essentials. I wanted to try it out before vacation and have been using it ever since. I like that it goes across shoulder very comfortably and sits at your hip nicely. My daughter is in a wheelchair so I need to be hands free with a purse. It would be great for moms with strollers also.

The bag seems to be very durable. I throw my purses around and some tear easily. This bag is a little smaller than I expected, however, it has plenty of separate compartments.

Best. Bag. Ever! I wanted a bag that could fit all the things I need to haul around for me and my kids. This is it AND it has room to spare! Ordering was super easy and with free shipping, what's not to like. The box was delivered before I even got the E-mail telling me it was on the way! I would definitely recommend this item and shopping with zappos.com. Great all around!
