I love this hat! It fits. I have such a hard time finding hats. All the hats I find in stores are way too big. I am just thrilled to find a brand of hats that come in sizes. I have very fine hair, and maybe a small head (brain?). I also bought the sun hat. It fits, too! Wow! We just came back from a cruise to the inside passage of Alaska. I was so concerned about my luggage being overweight, that I started taking out stuff I didn't think I would need, or felt heavy. Unfortunately, I chose the wrong hat to leave behind. I took the sun hat instead of the rain hat. Dumb move. It rained most of the trip. We only saw the sun on the first and last stops. I would recommend this brand of hat to anyone. It is extremely well made and well designed. My only complaint was the price, but believe me when I say both hats were well worth it.
Brands I'd also recommend: So far, any brand that came in sizes.

Great hat. Hats don't usually fit my small head but this one has a band adjustment. Waterproof! I think you can get cheaper Outdoor Research hats that work just as well as this one, though. I expect this hat will handle all of my outdoor needs.
