Kamik makes a great product and these sandals appear well constructed and my daughter really liked the style; however the product does not size well. The youth 1 was too small and the youth 2 was too large. A 1.5 would be ideal but none exists currently.

We love Keen sandals! This year we debated going with the tried & true Newport H2 or the new Seacamp. We opted for the Seacamp because my son liked that they came in red. Although they are comfortable, we have noticed a downside...the sole of the Seacamp seems to have a lower profile than the H2. Therefore, my son has noticed that playground mulch always gets stuck in these. We didn't have that problem with the H2 so next year we'll go back to the H2.

Great suit... Bought this for our daughter who is just plain big for her age. She is 10...almost 5 feet tall and 96 lbs. She wears a 14-16 and a size 8 shoe. If you're looking for a flattering suit that runs true to size....look no further. I bought the 16/18 and she loves it. Comfortable soft fabric.

I tried this shoe in the Youth size as I have very small but wide feet (woman's 5) and can often get away with kids shoes. The length is perfect but the width just isn't wide enough, even with the adjustable strap. otherwise it is exactly what I wanted. I will try the next size up - finger's crossed!

I'm so glad I got these for my active 3-year-old girl. She says they feel good on her feet and I love not having to worry about stubbed toes. Buy these! You won't be disappointed.

Daddy drove for a long time. We went up mountains and through hills. My mom pointed out all the important things to look at, like the horses and the ducks. But when we finally got to our camping site, I couldn't wait to jump out of the car!
I was prepared for all the mud and puddles in my new Keen™ Kids boots. I feel like I have total control over my feet! I can't wait for our hike, but first we have to set up camp. I love everything about camping. We have great sleeping bags from The North Face® that we can snuggle under, and the scariest ghost story around the campfire won't keep me awake. I even have some fun pajamas from Life Is Good® to wear on our first night.
Next year, I'll be going to summer camp all by myself! I can't wait to meet other kids my age and go on hikes with them and make s'mores at night. I'm getting some good practice this year with my family vacation, and I've already broken in my Merrell Kids® hiking shoes. Over the winter, our parents took us out in the snow. I had a lot of fun learning how to ski, but even more fun learning how to snowboard! My little brother went sledding and started a few snowball fights. We both really love the warm clothes Mom bought us from Obermeyer Kids®. Now we can really tackle that mountain!
We don't always stick to the snow. On this trip, we're having so much fun discovering all the trees, the little critters and even each other. I never knew my dad was scared of spiders. But he is! He saw one on my backpack while we were on the trail and he totally freaked out. It was pretty funny. It was a good thing I was wearing a cool Patagonia® Kids beanie. I wouldn't want a spider in my hair! No insects were harmed, by the way. Dad is an eco-friendly kind of guy, and he just brushed him off into the woods.
We walked for a long time. I'm glad Mom had my little brother in his Baby Jogger™. She says it's really durable and safe on all the trails. He just sits back all nice and cozy, but his feet sure do look cute in his Teva® Kids sandals. We also packed some Columbia® Kids rain boots, just in case. If the weather does turn cold, I'll have all the protection I need because I've also brought my jacket and a warm top. I am so ready for this vacation!
Sometimes I think that vacations are even better than recess. You can't go fishing at recess, for example. But with my new water friendly Sorel® Kids boots, I can hit the lake front and bring some dinner back to camp!
I hope you liked my story. And I hope your family goes on an amazing vacation this year, too!
