Ordered these yesterday and am wearing them tonight. Love them. Not only cute but kind of a "Tom's crossed with Birkenstock" look. They are very comfortable with a kind of a urban feel for pants, skirts and shorts. Plenty of toe room, nice material and the cork bed has support and comfort. I ordered a little up in size, and they are perfect. If you go too small the toes will bump at the end. I have a somewhat narrow heel and they don't slide. Hooray. Great feel. Will order more in the fall.

These have very abruptly made their way to the the top of my summer favorites, both for comfort and versatility. I have wide feet with nerve shenanigans after a healed stress fracture, stumbled on OTZ's wax canvas a year ago and found them to be the best lightweight shoe I've ever found. (I almost didn't keep them, as I thought they might be too unsupportive/lightweight/possibly hard, but because of the cork, even on concrete they are almost like walking on a compacted bed of moss barefoot. No pain + excellent fit = amazed.) So I leapt at these. My regular size 6 1/2-7W, or 37, was a bad fit - pushed the foot forward, straps didn't fit well behind or over, very strange. Took a chance and tried a size 36, and it's perfect. It fits my foot exactly - foot entirely covering the footbed, no overhang - and the push/pull of the straps now balance each other out if I wear the back strap behind. (Also, the loop is wide enough to accommodate my largish big toe, with no chafing. Yay!) I find it fantastic and easiest to walk in and a great casual look with the back strap over the foot, as a slide, but with it behind it is dressy enough to wear with a black linen dress to dinner. It conforms to the foot and fits better after a little use. Thank you, Zappos.

I wear a size 7.5 normally I ordered the size 8 (size 38), and they were too small. The arch support was there however, the rest of the insole was hard and not comfortable. I found the shoe to overall feel very rigid and flimsy. For the big price tag, I don't want to take the risk of 'breaking them in' and then not loving them. Too bad, because I love the non traditional style of this flat. I went with A Clarks flat instead.

Extremely comfortable and stylish shoe. I have wide feet and live in NYC and do lots of walking. This shoe is supportive, true to size and will get me through the intense walking on the city streets. I do have to say that after a super long, high powered day of city walking, my toes will feel a little sore from rubbing against the sole at the front of shoe. This is only on days of extreme walking so leisure strolling, touring and general work day will find this shoe to be everything you want.

A very comfortable shoe for a wide foot. I live in NYC and walk a lot and this shoe has the perfect form fitting insole. While the fit is perfect, after a very long day of walking, my toes will rub against the top part of the shoe where the insole meets the edge. Not a deal breaker if you are strolling or looking for a stylish shoe. I have since bought 3 more pairs. I LOVE THEM!!!!!

I have had 2 pair already! The most comfortable shoes I have owned. No breaking in and the arch is wonderful. So glad that I can purchase them on Zappos!

They look good. Better in person for sure. Super comfortable and they seem to be decently durable. The only problem is the "non slip" is a joke. You will in fact slip on just about everything in these. If only they could actually be non slip, I'd give these 5 stars, but risking an injury at work every night is just not cool.

These shoes are sadly disappointing. I will say that the shoes look awesome, much better in person than in pictures. Also the footbed is quite comfortable, although too stiff. Other than the look and comfort, the rest is a steep downhill grade. There is no stitching in the sole to connect to the rest of the shoe, only glue. The use of only glue is really a bad choice in crafting a quality product, made to last the work environment. I say this because it is not a quality product that is made to last in the work environment. These shoes have fallen apart in less than three months because the sole has separated from the shoe starting from the big toe. This was not a problem until I had to start gluing the sole back together every night just to be able to get through the next day. Also, the sole itself has worn away at the heel, and I am not much of a heel striker. I will stop on my heel on occasion in the workplace but that is it. Honestly, Shoes For Crews last longer than this and are much cheaper. So the fact that I threw away this much money for a shoe is really upsetting. Thanks, Michael Voltaggio, and OTZ Shoes.

As a fan and a chef I was very excited to get these. However, after just a few uses the shoes started to crack and bubble and peel. The rubber that meets the toe box is also peeling off. These are not for daily kitchen use. I am hoping that I can get a full refund. Too bad, though, I had such high hopes.

I have to agree with the other chef review. I was really looking forward to getting these. I found them on Zappos' other site called 6pm.com I wore the shoes for couple of weeks and they started to peel off at the toe box and the cheap material overlay is bubbling and peeling off. That is not what I expected and I am in the process of returning mine.

I am on my feet a good bit at work, and I have found that great insoles make the time spent at work that much more comfortable. I will not be sending back these OTZ cork and spongy rubber inserts. I would say if you wear a size 81/2 or 9 order the size 9. They run a bit short, and that may be to easily get them in and out of certain shoes. Great support of arches and metatarsal.

These did not fit in any of my shoes, try as I might. The toe box is too wide - or maybe curved? I like cork footbeds and think that these would have been great and supportive otherwise. I am sad! Just for other OTZ shoes, perhaps.

Ha! When I bought these there was no video. I guess I've been wearing them wrong (strap across my foot rather than around my heel). But the strap is literally positioned straight up form the footbed, so... I say it's totally legal. Anyway, now I like em even more. Flexible.

I wish I bought these at the sale price, but otherwise I like 'em a lot. I wanted a super minimal casual summer sandal that had more support than a flip flip and these fit the bill. I was concerned at first because they were a little stiff and the fabric rubbed on my foot, but after a few short wears they softened up and they continue to conform to my feet. They look pretty unusual, too which I like. Kind of Euro, kind of Jesus, but modern. Thumbs up.

I have weird feet. My middle toe is slightly longer than my big toe and I pretty much have flat feet. So, it's hard to find sandals that don't look funny. But I thought I'd give these a try, anyway, because the foot bed looked comfortable. Unfortunately, the front of the shoe seems too short. My toes hung over the top edge of the shoe if placing the loop in the proper location on my big toe. I had to return them.

I was looking for a Birkenstock replacement and these are lovely shoes, but run very short - I ordered my normal size and my toes were way over the tip. I also can't imagine walking far in them due to the very stretchy elastic. I think I'll try another style in the same brand, as the footbed feels as though it would be amazing.

These shoes get more comfortable the more you wear them. I have long toes so the toe strap was in the wrong place but workable. Loved the color, feel and support. Wore them to an amusement park for many hours on end. There was a seam I started to just barely feel at the end of the day on my sole, but feet were not tired. I have flat feet so that is saying something. Look great on.

WAS super excited, but the cheap thin rubber outer began peeling like a sunburn and now the shoes look like I've worn them for years. The sad thing is I've only worn these shoes about 30 times. The inserts are NOT cork, only cork lined. They're great for a few weeks and then completely fall apart. I'm returning them, and hopefully someday they'll come out with a professional grade line, this one is just for looks.

These are excellent looking shoes with a great fit and lasting comfort. I must say though...I work as a chef and being designed from Michael Voltaggio I expected more. After two weeks the top layer started peeling off. For the price I expected these shoes to last a lot longer. But it's like a cheap spray on rubber on the outside it peels off and they look terrible now. I would not recommend these shoes to anyone except to just look at them in your closet only brand new.

These shoes were very cool looking and very comfortable. As a chef I enjoy wearing a kitchen shoe that is comfortable but these have started to fall apart after only a few weeks of wearing them at work and it's not like I'm rock climbing in them or anything. Boo.

Finally, this is a shoe that I can wear on and off the clock. They're comfortable, durable and slip-resistant which is essential in the work place and out on the town. - Michael Voltaggio
