The spray is not nearly as good as the powder. It gets clumpy and doesn't dry well - leaves streaks in your hair. Yuck! I had much better luck with the powdered dry shampoo - I just put it on my roots the night before, slept on it and by morning my hair had extra volume and looked like it was just washed and dried! The aerosol leaves much to be desired.
