After being a terrible sufferer of plantar fasciitis, almost unable to walk for months, these shoes and a couple of others by "Orthaheel" were my salvation! My feet are nearly back to normal. I am never barefoot only the Orthaheel shoes are on my feet. This pair are of particular comfort and the adjustable fit make this pair priceless. Oh, did I mention they are cute on?

Sonora provides great arch support, which is essential for my high arches. I got the black patent to wear everyday, but also for more dressier occasions. I haven't worn much, but it fits well and will wear well, because of the great construction.

I think this would be a good, comfortable sandal for me if it was in my size, which is 6 1/2. Since Zappos did not have this sandal in stock, I ordered the next size, 7. It was too big.Apparently this sandal runs true to size. I will be happy to reorder this should you get my size in White. It's hard for me to rate the arch support fairly because I only tried on one sandal and did not walk in the sandals. But they look as though they would give at least moderate arch support. For the same reason, I can't rate the shoe either.
I'd also recommend: Can't tell because I didn't walk in the shoes.

Felt much too wide. I usually wear a B (medium) width shoe, and although I adjusted the velcro strap to its tightest setting, it was still sloppy-fitting. The sole also felt stiff and clunky, uncomfortable for walking. Thank you, Zappos, for your generous return policy.

Center strap is off center whether on foot or off (Major slant); otherwise a pretty shoe. Can't adjust the slant to a vertical line as I have been able to with other shoes. Fits well with usual good high arch support for my pronation, but no way to adjust center vertical strap. Also, it looks like with just some wear the vertical strap will tear loose where it is anchored at bottom and top horizontal strap. Hate to have to return both white and black shoes. A good dressy style for any time of year.
I'd also recommend: the Orthaheel sandals usually work for me and I have over 7 pairs
