I just ordered these and received them today. I compared these to four other pairs of Orthaheels I had also ordered. The Tides are great, but are clunky, and I was looking for a more dainty style to wear with summer skirts and dresses. I have wide feet so these seem to work well so far since, as another reviewer mentioned, they don't cut off the sides of the foot. I also have flat feet and plantar fasciitis, and so these work well, although they do have less arch support than the Tide. So far I have one complaint and one fear. My complaint is that while the foot bed is very smooth and nice to touch and feel, it is very slippery and so your toes have to work extra hard to grip at the surface. My fear is that, I am nervous that the back strap may eventually separate from the front as it is connected by a thin elastic band. They are super cute though! (I ordered the white.)

I love the Orthaheel Tide. I have perfect balance and no more ankle giving way. I wear them all waking hours.

I love the concept of this shoe, but on my foot the strap came up too high on the inside of my ankle and rubbed it too much. If the strap were a little longer, it might help. The footbed was extremely comfortable and the shoes looked cute on my foot. Sadly, these will have to go back and I will have to continue to wear my Orthaheel Tides until I can find something with a little more foot support.

My feet feel so much better when wearing these. A friend told me about these and I love them. Took me a little bit to get used to them. I would wear them a little at a time, but love them now!

This was my first Orthaheel purchase. It won't be my last! I love them, and they really help my plantar fasciitis, as well as my whole body alignment. I did heed others' advice and ordered a size below my normal and they fit perfectly.

These slippers do their job. Great support, however they are a bit wide and the longer you wear them the more they stretch. They can be adjusted but not enough for me because I have thin feet. Overall though I am very happy with them. I never buy shoes anymore unless they're through Zappos. They are the best!

I was unsure of what size to order since I'm an 8.5 and they don't have half sizes in their sandals. I ordered the 9 and it was too big but then I got the 8 and it fit perfectly! Like the other Orthaheel shoes I have they have great arch support and look nice.

The footbed is great. It has great support and has helped my heel pain, along with the slippers of the same make. However, the materials used in the upper parts of the shoe are very hard and were uncomfortable for several weeks. I feel like there is sand in the shoe even now. These need softer materials where they contact skin.

Love them, love them. They do a better job with my flat feet than my pricey orthotics do. I ordered a second pair just for "dress".

I got these for my mom due to the fact that she is on her feet often and usually comes home in pain. She has a bad knee and since I got her these I do not hear complaining. She says it is like walking on a cloud. They are true to size and are a little wide but for her they are perfect and this is probably her second pair already. She wishes there were more color or style options but as far as comfort they are 10/10.

I love these sandals, they are very comfortable and also cute. The support is fantastic and I can walk for long distances comfortably in them. I was so impressed, I also purchased the Orthaheel Ramba Toe Wedge in metallic multi. They're comfortable and gorgeous.

People with bad ankles and knees need a scandal with a heel strap. These were impossible for me to fasten because of two total knees surgeries that went badly not permitting me to bend at the knee properly. Some sort of velcro closure probably could have worked. Since I live in Hawaii, sandals are a must. The toe box is too small for my wide foot and my little toe hung over the edge a bit. I was afraid of injury, just what I need at this point. They are good looking but not practical.

: Because I have plantar fasciitis, I bought these sandals to wear in my apartment at times when it was cool and I wanted to wear socks. For warmer times, when I don't want to wear socks, I have a pair of Orthaheel Ryder flip-flops. I'm very happy with both of them and my plantar fasciitis has gotten much better since I've been wearing them. The Traverse Vionics have a less arch support than the Ryder flips but it still seems quite adequate. In fact, the arch support on the Ryder is perhaps a bit too much. The material on the footbed of the Traverse Vionics is soft and rubbery whereas the footbed of the Ryder is harder and more like plastic. I find that the rubbery surface of the Traverse Vionics gets sticky when I wear them without socks, whereas this is not a problem with the Ryders, so I prefer the Ryders when I'm not wearing socks and the Traverse Vionics for use with socks. When I ordered Traverse Vionics, I was worried that they would tend to fall of when walking, but that hasn't been a problem. I could walk outside in them without much trouble if I wanted to. There is a soft raised area under the middle of the heel which I found uncomfortable for the first couple of days but after that I stopped noticing it. The extra cushioning that it provides may be a good thing. These sandals seem well made and look like a quality product. I have the black ones. There's a fancy design on the strap which gives them a fairly distinctive look.

They are very comfortable. It took a few days to get used to but after that, they are great. I have flat feet and the shoes help.

I think these sandals are so cute. But I can't wear them. These are the first Orthaheels I have to return. Let me start by saying I have a completely average foot, size wise and shape wise. This sandal runs true to size for Orthaheel. Ordered 1/2 size down, as always in this brand. The length was fine. The footbed is wonderful-softer than others. Here are the problems I faced: While the back of my foot was secure, the front of my foot kept slipping over the side. Way too sloppy and roomy in the toe post. The gold links ran along the center bone in my foot and hurt. I wore them for about 1/2 hour, and in that time the bone on my foot was red and there was an indentation from the top link. I am bummed these didn't work out for me.

I get compliments on these all the time! They have the most arch support of any sneaker I've ever worn. I'm on my feet for my job and walk around a lot. My knees don't bother me anymore and I believe what Dr. Weil has done; aligned the foot in it's proper position. I'm a Physical Therapist and know how important this is. So, if you over-pronate (your ankles fall in), I recommend trying this shoe. You have everything to gain and nothing to lose, especially since shipping is free! Thanks, Zappos! That's what keeps me coming back for more.

I am an huge fan of Orthaheel Tides for my PF and have worn them for a few years now. This year I decided to restock my flip flops with a few new colors. Sad to say they are not the same as past years. They are making them narrower and not as much arch support. I wear a 7.5 to an 8 in regular shoes and usually wear a 7 in the Tides. My new 7s are going back and hopefully the 8s will fit. I am frustrated since there are so few sandals out there for those of us who need high arch support. I am still giving them 4 stars since they do have arch support...just not like the past.

Most comfortable pair of sandals I own. I have a high arch and need the support, and these have that. I can walk in these without my feet or knees hurting. Not used to spending this much for shoes, but they are worth it.
