Onitsuka Tiger by Asics Runspark™ LE

I was looking for a new pair of Tigers, and by choosing this new design I felt like I was going out on a limb. I'm very pleased with them so far! If you're used to the Mexico 66's, I'll give a brief rundown of differences. These have an all-leather top that doesn't have a toe guard. That means that the feel is akin to a pair of soccer cleats (without, of course, the cleats). They're low profile and come with brightly colored soft leather - they feel like jacket leather from the get-go. They're also completely lined with synthetic material, which I hope means that they won't stretch a lot. The heel is padded and the overall construction is quite sturdy. I originally got the same size I wear in the 66 (Men's 6), but my slightly larger right foot felt a bit cramped in the toe so I sized up to a Men's 6.5. I use Superfeet inserts, so the support is irrelevant to me. For what it's worth, these were extra cushy before I switched out the insoles. Unfortunately, it seems that Asics (or Zappos) no longer send out an extra pair of shoelaces in a complementary color. This is a shame, since my green Runsparks could be fun with snazzy yellow laces. All in all, however, I'm really pleased and would recommend these sneakers to anyone, they're quite comfortable and really attract a lot of positive attention.

I wear an 8 or an 8 1/2 and these fit perfectly in the size 8. I've got a narrow foot, and these fit, which is rare for me to find in a tennis shoe. I got the green color, they are really cute. they are low profile and not bulky, which i liked.

This is a super cool shoe. Saw it in the N.Y. Times fashion section listed at retail and was pleasantly surprised by Zappos price. I've gotten nothing but compliments on these puppies and am very happy with the purchase.

These shoes were amazingly comfortable from day one. The size was exactly as expected. The materials are top notch, though you need to be prepared for a softer leather than on other shoes. They were wrinkled from day one, but I think it adds to the style of the shoe. I liked them so much that I bought another pair in green.
