I should have read the name of this product first: "Skin" being the operative word. I ordered a size 12 for my slim 13 year-old daughter. There is no way it would have fit her, or been comfortable. Fortunately it fit my 6 year-old daughter just fine. Skins are not rashguards - they are very tight. Otherwise, my younger daughter is thrilled with her unexpected swim shirt.
