I researched juicers for hours one Saturday afternoon and this is the one I choose. Juicing is time-consuming, no machine can change that. So I picked this one because its quiet, the juice yield is very high, and it's easy to clean. We have been using it for almost year on a regular, but not daily, basis. It's made me a juice addict and juicer elitist. Pretty sure this is the best juicer around. Also, I watched a bunch of YouTube videos of the juicer guy using this juicer to make all kinds of things, the most surprising being nut butters.

Love my juicer and loved my experience with Zappos.com The first juicer I ordered was no longer in stock, so Zappos crew sent me a sweet apology and a coupon off my next purchase, which I used on this juicer, a different color than the one I had first ordered. I love the friendly way that Zappos communicates and their quick and helpful way to fix an issue. It was win win for me. I will definitely come back again.

I had used a champion juicer for 20 years and loved the results but never enjoyed the time consuming process. However, I loved that it never failed (in 20 years I probably averaged ywice a week usage and only replaced the blade once) But we grow wheat grass and I needed a separate wheat grass juicer because my champion was made way before they started offering the wheat grass attachment which has iffy reviews. Over the years we have incorporated even more raw foods into our diet and I started to wish that I had a juicer that did not heat the juice as much, something with an auger. I have a couple of friends who love their Omegas and since I had a Zappos credit and because they are absolutely the best in customer service I figured I would give the Omega a try. I ended up loving it. My husband feels the juice tastes better. We love it for juicing but also to make ice cream with frozen bananas and berries. I had first tried the omega VRT and did not like it at all. We also tried the Breville Elite and I hated it. I hope this helps!
I exchanged a BMJ390 juicer.Because of the cheap plastic fastener holders. Plus if the pulp container lid is not exactly in place, it will spray onto the wall in back of the machine while you're extracting juice! I exchanged it for J1000 pulp juicer because looking at the picture you see stainless steel bowl & inner stainless steel basket. The inner stainless bowl is where the pulp collects. Just how do you get the pulp out? Gorilla from manila! Scoop it out with a ice cream scooper! Or just scoop it out with your hands! Beats the hell out my peapod brain why someone would want to buy this! Why a designer decided it would be efficient. I donated this to a local charity! Didn't give up! Repurchased another Omega juicer. Juicing is a very healthy way of life, but you need to be careful of what type of machine you're buying. The quality of the machine is of the utmost importance!
I've been with a Jack LaLanne juicer for 2 years 8 months. Which granted their cutter seems better. But the acid rings inside of the housing on the plastic bowl just never go's away. So much more to clean. I even curved a thistle brush to adapt to cleaning it faster. I use 5 stalks of celery, 2 carrots, 2 apples. All the vegetebles come from Costco. I like the stainless steel screen and bowl. Just knowing I will be away from the [plastic]. I don't like bottled water either. Think we're over the top in damaging our bodies with plastic containers holding food and drinks. That's my personal opinion.

I have this Omega Bmj390 Mega Mouth pulp Ejection juicer. First, the instruction book how to assembly is un-believable. Instruction in the front of book. Parts picture in the back of book. Common sense how to assemble is out of the question! The motor is so powerful it blows the juice right out of the bowl or a large drinking glass that I catch the extracting vegetable juice in! So I drink it down half way through the process while making the drink. Then one of the strap fasteners connecting with the housing head while fastening back together chipped while re-assembling! Golly! Poor quality plastic! First the chip was very small. Now it's larger. Poor quality material! I called. Told me to send a picture to the e-mail address. The e-mail is in-correct. Unreliable people work there. They have promised to send me other parts. 3 weeks later, still waiting. If I knew about the poor quality of the rest of the machine. My answer is don't waste your money. The motor has a 10 year guarantee. You can give it a 30 year guarantee. The rest of the plastic parts. Give it 3 months and you'll have to donate the juicer to some unsuspecting charity.

Great juicer for people who are trying to make fresh juices daily. The parts are very easy to take apart, clean (love the cleaning brush it comes with), and reassemble. It also doesn't take up that much room on the counter. I have yet to try the other attachments.

I've had my Omega J8004 for a short while and have used it quite a bit. My introduction to juicing was with a Jack Lalanne centrifugal juicer and I definitely prefer the Omega. The pulp is drier, therefore I'm getting more juice out of my fruits and veggies; the motor is much quieter; the machine is smaller; there are no blades to dull and, therefore have to replace; and clean-up is a breeze - much easier than the Jack Lalanne. The only negatives, if you choose to see them as such, is that you spend more time chopping because the chute is much smaller than the centrifugal-type machines (I suspect it has to be that way to allow the augur to work efficiently) and it juices slower. A small amount of pulp does get through, particularly from softer fruits, but I don't see that as a bad thing. There is a strainer provided if you don't like any pulp. If you have the money, I definitely recommend it.

The juicer does a great job. As long as you fully read the book and thoroughly understand how to assemble it. Place a plastic bag for the waste pulp. Choosing the right collecting bowl for the juicer is very important. Nice part being is the bowl is stainless steel. Soaking the bowl and finding a good scrub brush before you start juicing is also very important. Cleaning is very quick compared to some other types of competitor's juicers. I've been juicing for over 3 years. The benefits mostly is what good vegetable juice can do for you. Very quick energy. I use 5 stalks of celery, 2 carrots, two apples. Just be aware the juice from the carrot can give you a orange mustache! Nice 10 year warranty on the motor. Any questions, call the phone number on back of the book. They're concerned, very helpful.

I had a Jack LaLanne Centrifuge juicer over 2.5 years. The bowl left acid stains from the vegetables. No matter how I went about cleaning the bowl which is made of plastic. I hope I don't see new issues with this one. Y'all get to the point in life that you should be concerned what goes into your body. I use 5 celery, 2 carrots, 2 apples, broccoli, garlic, brussel sprouts. The energy it gives is extraordinary. But also it cleans you out. Looks like the fewer parts cleaning will take less time. Looking forward to using it 3+ times a week.
This juicer chewed up the bottom of its feed chute on its first use. I checked to make sure it was assembled correctly (it was) but it continued to grind the bottom of the chute for a split second upon applying power and when the motor was powering down. I contacted the manufacturer and they said some have a problem with an unbalanced motor spindle, which causes it to grind the chute. They said they could ship me a new one, but they couldn't guarantee the new one wouldn't have the same problem. I decided to risk it, and exchanged it for the same model. Unfortunately, the replacement also had the same problem. I should also mention that I did not notice the chewed up feed chute on the first one until after I had made my first juice. The juice tasted great and the juicer produces a good yield, but it had bits of plastic in it. I drank the juice that contained the plastic, and I must say I was not too pleased to discover that when I disassembled the juicer for cleaning. These juicers are unsafe. Even if you get one that runs fine the first few times, if and when it finally chews up the feed chute, you might not notice until it's too late and you already consumed polymers.

I bought this juicer from a different merchant (I could not resist the price, they offered me), and I have to say: I love this juicer! It is quiet, the extracted juice tastes excellent and the pulp tastes so much better than from high speed juicers! I use it in my salads and soups, so I do not throw almost anything away, except the fiber from celery. I juice only veggies, I like fruit too much to juice it (I just eat it all). I must confess, this is my third juicer in 15 months and I do not regret, because each juicer I got has been better then the previous. I started with Jack Lalanne's Ultimate juicer and it was "a pain in the butt", despite I love Jack and always will. Too many parts and tools for every time you clean it, it was time consuming and discouraging. Then I heard from a friend about a Breville brand, so I did some research and bought Breville BJE200XL and what a difference! Only three parts to clean, no tools, I was happy, saved plenty of time and used it almost a year until I came across this "puppy" in the store, called Omega VRT 350HD juicer and when the clerk explained to me all the advantages, I did some more searching and then decided to go for it. It is pricey, but worth it if you are a dedicated juicer as myself.

I can only compare this to a $10 hand juicer that broke after one use, but so far this seems like a decent juicer. I've had it for over a month and have used it mostly for orange juice, but have put apples, grapes, carrots and celery in as well and it juices nicely. There are a few drawbacks. First, the back bin does not attach to the machine, so pulp sometimes spills over if you don't have it lined up just right. Also, when you add in fruit while the machine is on, it sprays everywhere, even if you are quick to put the plunger back in. You also have to peel your oranges which is a bit time-consuming, but the results are worth the effort (for me, at least). It is very easy to take apart and clean. Would recommend as a first juicer if you're not planning on juicing leafy greens.

This 8006 is amazing. Quickly processes vegetables and fruit. No foam, easy to drink. We even do not use the final screen just so we get some pulp. Easy to clean if you rinse off the parts immediately after using. I can not imagine a better result from another machine.

I bought this type of juicer because I wanted to juice both fruits and veggies (but primarily veggies). It is a hybrid of the fast, centrifuge type juicers (good for fruits but not so much leafy greens) and the slow, single auger type juicers (better for veggies, but soft fruits get all mushed up inside). Overall, I am pleased with this juicer. It is fairly quiet, and for the most part, easy to clean (sometimes when using the fine screen, I really have to work with the brush to clean all the fiber out of the holes). If you plan to juice both fruit and veggies, this type of juicer will do both. That being said, I sometimes have to stop and clean it, if I'm juicing softer foods (pineapple or apricot). A way to mitigate this (if making a mixed juice), is to juice the softer foods and then alternate with something harder (like a carrot or apple). If you are doing very fibrous veggies, the ejection chute sometimes clogs up, and needs to be unclogged. I've heard that cutting these into smaller pieces help (the fibers are shorter and more easily ejected), but I haven't tried it personally. I do like that this is considered a "slow" juicer, so the juices don't oxidize as much as with a centrifuge type juicer. I can store juice for up to 48 hours in my fridge, with little degradation to the nutrients. If you know you plan to juice both fruit and veggies, you can't go wrong with this type of juicer, but if you are going for greens and veggies, a single auger might better suit you; and if you plan to do solely fruit, maybe look into a centrifuge one. Because of the vertical design, it takes up less counter space (very important when counter space is limited). I also like the two different sized screens. While it separates most pulp, you still get some in the juice, and will have to strain it with a cheesecloth of you want totally pulp free juice. The pulp it ejects if very dry (as opposed to the centrifuge stye ones which leaves more juice in the fiber), so you do extract a lot of the juice. I use the fiber to make veggie crisps in my dehydrator.
