I actually bought this for myself (I have unfortunately tiny feet!). The youth sizes do not have the elastic strap on the back, so it's a regular thong/slipper. Since the sizes are dual (2/3 or 4/5, etc.), you won't be able to get a perfect fit unless your daughter is an in-between size. But if you're like me, and your feet won't be growing anymore, you'll have to choose between either a little too small or a little too big. It's a little heavy for a thong/slipper, but it's comfy since it has the arch support (rare for this type of shoe). I did not find that I needed the usual "break in" period with these - wore them for long periods right off the bat.

Perfect summer flip flops. Gold tone will go with everything. Decent arch support for a flip flop. My daughter says that they are super comfortable and cushiony.
