I love the OluKai Ohana. Best flip flop out there. So, I got a pair for my daughter. She's still learning how to get around in them, but she loves the style and color. The training strap is brilliant.
Brands I'd also recommend: Go with OluKai they are the best.

I recommend this in place of most 'flip flops'. I purchased a pair for my ten year old who has flat feet. Nothing is worse for your feet (and hips) than flip flops yet that is the 'shoe' of choice in the summer for kids and adults. These are well made and provide strong arch support. I found them to run a bit small and unfortunately, there is limited size choices. It means for us that she will outgrow them soon. Would have liked the heel strap, but that is only offered on the toddler sizes.

Super cute shoes. Size 2, which we ordered did not come with back strap though. Had to return simply because my daughter didn't like the color. Otherwise, it's a great shoe with a cushy, supportive footbed.
Brands I'd also recommend: keen, teva

My daughter liked them but they were too small when I ordered her size. We will be getting them in a larger size for her. Seemed like it was going to offer good arch support when fitting properly.

I had horrible plantar fasciitis, bought a pair of Olukai's...pain gone. 7 year old daughter had foot pain from wearing cheapie flip flops. I bought her this pair and her feet feel great. Highly recommend!

I bought these for my daughter, who loves to wear flip-flops, to give her more support. She wears an 11 1/2-12, so I ordered the 11/12 and 13/1. I found they run a bit small, so we kept the 13/1. The strap on the back is useless because it's so long. It hangs off the back by about an inch, so we cut it off (although she's never worn a flip-flop with a strap). My daughter loves these flip-flops and says they are very comfortable.
