Great arch support - If you have high arches like me, this is the flip-flop for you. These puppies have a very comfortable footbed and feel great! My only comfort complaint is that the straps are pretty stiff, but I'm hoping/assuming that they will loosen up with wear. The Amo is more feminine than the equally comfortable Ohana; the footbed is identical, the straps are the only difference. Normally I wear a 9.5 - 10, but the 9 seems to fit the bill with Olukai.

I wanted to like this shoe. They looked really cute and seemed to fit when I tried them on. I thought it would be nice to have new flipflops for vacation so these were the only casual ones that I packed. The straps turned out to be very uncomfortable and dug into my feet. They hurt so badly after the first day that I had to buy a cheap pair while on vacation that I could at least wear to the beach. I thought of my comfy teva's back at home packed away for the winter. if you have a very narrow foot this shoe will probably work but if your feet swell at all during travel, expect these to be painful. As always, ordering through Zappos is the best and I blame myself for not factoring in swollen feet and the risk of wearing a shoe for the first time without backup!

These flip flops were an amazing find! I have very small feet (size 5) and plantar fasciitis, so wearing flip flops is usually out of the question for me. But these flip flops have a really great arch support and I was able to wear them with out my feet hurting at all! I would recommend them to anyone who has high arches and needs more support in a flip flop.

These are way cuter than Chaco flips and provide about the same level of arch support at a similar price point. The footbed is very comfortable and the soles seem durable. Based on other reviews I plan to break them in before around the house before an extended outing in them.

My friend recommended these OluKai flip-flops and she was right! I never knew such arch support was possible in flip-flops! They took a little while to break-in; the straps rubbed against the top of my feet until they molded more to my feet. But nothing a few well-placed band-aids couldn't fix! Super comfortable and feminine!

These shoes are very comfortable but I thought ran short in length. I am usually a 9 sometimes 9.5 but I definitely need to order a 10. The strap fit me well but I have a narrow foot so if you have a wide foot (or even a medium width foot) these straps may be tight or cut in a little.

I was excited to try this sandal knowing how my husband loves his OluKais (I actually tried his and thought they were extremely comfortable). Unfortunately, the first warm spring day I wore them outside, after about a quarter mile, the top straps started digging into my skin and by the time I was able to take them off, my skin was bleeding. Yikes! The straps are made of the same material typical of other OluKais, but they are narrower. Also, I typically wear sandals a half- to full size smaller, and did so with this shoe (with no shortness length-wise), but perhaps rounding up a size would be better due to the nature of the fit. I expect a break-in period with sandals, but this was a rough one! I’m hoping that after a few more wearings, they’ll be kinder to my feet.

These sandals are so comfy! The straps are snug enough, but not digging in the skin like some of the other reviews say. They fit very securely on my foot, and keep the sandal in place. The arch support is AMAZING! I'm sure I have a pretty high arch, and these support my arch perfectly. If you're considering these, go for it! You can't go wrong!

The Olukai flip flop is a cute shoe. I have it in the silver color and I like that it's just a little bit shiny and looks a bit nicer with jeans etc. Sizing was a challenge. I am an 8.5 and I ordered an 8. The toe bed area was fine, but my heels were right at the back, almost over the edge, so I exchanged for a 9. Now my heels fit perfectly, but there is a bunch of space between my toes and the front of the shoe. Maybe I just have short toes. Also, comfort is not great, but it's not awful. The shoes rub just where the toe strap separates into the "Y". I'm used to wearing Reefs with much lighter-weight straps, so my feet might just need to toughen up a little bit. Despite the slightly uncomfortable strap, the footbed of the shoe is very comfortable. I will continue wearing my Reefs for casual use, and I'll wear the Olukais for occasions where you don't want to be wearing black rubber flip flops :)

I've heard great things about these shoes so I thought I would give them a try. Within 2 days of wearing the slippers there was a gnarly blister that started to form where the strap hit my foot. I thought these shoes would be great for my vacation but I do not recommend them if you plan on walking a lot.

Really cute sandals with great arch support. However, I am returning them. I ordered these and a pair of Ohanas. While the narrow straps on the Amos are really cute and feminine, they also dug into the top of my foot. They might have broken in, but I didn't want to take the chance on not being able to wear a pair of flip flops that I bought mainly for comfort. The Ohanas are great and I might buy another pair of those.

These flip flops are super comfortable and have a lot of cusioning for this type of shoe. I like them a lot. My only complaint is that they are a bit pricey for what they are, which is why they get 4 stars.

I\'m not sure if there is breaking in period but the straps hurt my feet. It did not give and rubbed my skin. The arch support is great but the flip flop is also heavier so feels more clunky. I am considering the fatter straps. Going to try out the Ginger Reefs first.
